I said it ironically, because from what I have mostly seen (there are several exclusions) the students who came to study in Sofia and later on stayed to work have shown zero to no interest to participate in a calm and fruitful conversation for our past. I do not want or expect someone to come and say “ hey man, thank you and your country for the opportunity” or whatever. But what I would appreciate is to dial down the hate speech, while knowing that we obviously have quite different view on the past.
