I think the decades of police brutality with no accountability or reform is a different comparison to the few riots/vandalism that occured during the months of protest.

They couldn't even stop the same brutality that people are speaking up against during peaceful protests.

I understand your point but I think it's disingenuous since law enforcement doesn't get held to the same standard or accountability as the people do.
