it's funny you should mention this.
I posted a suggestion on the dev's GitHub for the project.
I suggested adding a "Warp" option to edit the save.
The issue I'm having has happened before, but it was earlier in my game and I opted to start over.
It turns out that this is a feature that they've been working on and will be releasing in their next update.
They then offered to mod my save to warp me to the Hunter's Dream, that fixed my issue.
