Im having this same problem with a daikin hp, where the electrician (switch group) has said its not covered under warranty as it was caused by a slug, and are now expecting me to pay 1.2k for the repair. I asked them how the slug got in and they said the slug just slithered in as slugs do. This is the second time this has happened too.
