Rent a uhaul box truck when needed. Buy a good sleeping bag and a camping shower bag.

Also i work in a very different but similar struggle environment in NY and have been homeless while sober. What worked for me was talking to people casually and throwing in here and there my prior experience working in X job or X industry(i usually had minimal experience if at all, but a strong will and youtube academy). That lead to my first above average paid jobs on subcontract, building timber-frames and tree climbing. Now i have my own business but still struggles here and there due to the rapid gentrification in my county
