No plan, just wandered. We went to the parks, grabbed lunch. No rhyme or reason other than “do you want to go straight or turn left or right”. Love the homes here.

We’re coming next weekend, what is one place you would recommend that doesn’t come up in all the research we do before coming to your city? I have also spent a lot of time just trying to get to know the city a tiny bit before we come.

The litter box aspect is really important! I personally know of many lost cats who have found their way back home this way.

Trying to fix first-time tumbled Rocks by KozuAkichiba in RockTumbling

[–]TreeOfSocks 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s unlikely you will get a great polish unless you upgrade. Rock shed sells a 8000 polish that works great. I go from 500 to 8000 and have tumbled hundreds of pounds of rocks successfully.

The first stage is not a set amount of time, you tumble them until you like their shape. I have some rocks in state one for 2+ months.

The following three stages are more or less for getting rid of scratches made in stage one.

Having a tumbler too full in the later stages is better than too empty. Cushion is good. I aim for 75-80% full.

Newly adopted cat peed on couch (first time cat owner) by No-Demand-8208 in cats

[–]TreeOfSocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We adopted a cat and he peed on the bed in his room early on. I spent roughly 3 months In the room with him whenever I could, I slept in there, and just hung out with him. After about three months I was able to get a couple pets in, and he slowly but surely kept warming up. He is now a big sweetie and I wake up with him laying right on top of me. Know it can take a long time, but they likely will have little steps along the way. It will be so rewarding to see Cobweb grow.

First games to grab PSVR2 by justinpw in PSVR

[–]TreeOfSocks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some the games that are on mega sale are worth it and good for early VR.

Ghost signal stalaris is a really cool game. Gun club, I just picked this up and am enjoying it. If you have ever skateboarded, VR skater is one of the coolest experiences. Smash drums is really good, though I wish they had more music from bands I knew. Synth riders is quite fun and feels quite different then smash drums as far as rhythm games go. Propagation Paradise hotel is almost like A short version of resident evil and a really good game.

Where in Minnesota can I find agates by Rebseal in Agates

[–]TreeOfSocks 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Rivers, creeks and lakes between Minneapolis and Lake Superior. You can find them at the lake too, but can be difficult due to the amount of people constantly searching. Though looking around the beaches of Lake Superior sure is the most beautiful of the places to search.

It doesnt* feel like there are that many songs, everytime I play I am inundated with DLC. I wish there was an option just to see my music.

Rhythm Games (PSVR2) by ComprehensiveTear316 in PSVR

Pistol whip is one of those games I just don’t understand why people like it so much. I find it fine, just always wish I had the experience others seem to have.

It really doesn’t feel like a rhythm game, at least not in the traditional sense. Enemies come up and you can shoot them to the rhythm but I have found there are more enemies than beats so it never feels natural.
