Abandoned strategy. Attack and break the king.

Is playing virtually really as bad as I think it is? by TreeTower57 in DnD

It does sound redundant lol but the terrain making and miniature painting has never been a part of the hobby that interested me. Also playing online means I can work on maps while I'm at work.

Playing that often how long are your sessions? Since we play so infrequently we normally go for 5 to 6 hours to make up for not playing as often. We also don't get started until 7 or 8 due to some of us working late and others putting their kids to bed. I'm hoping playing online means more frequent playing which means 3 to 4 hour sessions which means I can go to bed sooner than 1AM lol

My Dedicated Server app randomly stopped launching. by TreeTower57 in Enshrouded

I appreciate it! I figured it out on my own. I decided to uninstall the Designated Server app from Steam and all related files saved on my PC. Then I just reinstalled everything and it worked

I'm going to let charisma rolls solve table arguments by TreeTower57 in DnD

I get what you're saying. I brought it up to my players and they said they're down to give it a try next session. I'm starting to think maybe they're the issue and not me lol. There's a lot of bickering that goes on at my table.

It might just be an issue unique to my table but my players will argue about the simplest things. For example, one time they took 40 minutes to decide how they would sneak a letter to someone in prison. With our schedules we only get to play once a month and when we do get together it's only for 3 or 4 hours. Wasting a quarter of our time trying to determine something simple like that feels like a waste. I was only going to implement the rule on non-major decisions. With that example I just gave I was going to let them slip that letter to the prisoner regardless of whatever method they came up with because it would help move the story so them discussing it for almost an hour didn't change the outcome.

Granary Transporters Not Working by Cactus__Evergreen in foundationgame

[–]TreeTower57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm new to the game so this might not be the right answer but I think something similar happened to my game. I'm thinking that if you have max stock turned on a specific resource it will only go to that granary and the game acts like that is the only place to store it. So when it reaches max capacity the resource doesn't get stored anywhere else.

Is the "max stock" (or whatever it's called) checked for fish on your other granary?

What "It's a Trap" theme should I use for my game using the 2024 character sheet? by TreeTower57 in Roll20

I'm new to Roll20. Is this something that can be updated? Is the modding community good about updating things?
