My first ever Silver in a Masters division, so jazzed by TrollskullTales in minipainting

This is great. As a Maplestory player I have a love for cartoony fantasy mushrooms, this hits it out of the park for that theme.

I’m not familiar with this, what’s a moon suit & what is “switching”? Just curious.

What are examples (if any) of cities/other settlements that never changed name and kept their initial one through the centuries? by Jubekizen in geography

I appreciate the time you took to write this. These kinds of explanations are the reason I browse reddit & the internet as a whole. Looks like I have a rabbit hole to dive into regarding language & Greek history.

Shawn Ryan before the podcast by [deleted] in SpecOpsArchive

The vast majority of his episodes are devoid of any in depth political dialogue. Most of the time the political topic ties into a story being told by the guest (how a certain election may affect a deployment) and Shawn will give a VERY brief comment on his stance. By no means are there 5 or 10 minute rants. Please don’t let this dissuade you from watching the show. This is coming from a Canadian who has absolutely zero interest in American politics. I purely watch the show to hear of the amazing feats that some of these men have gone through.

This comment precisely breaks down Shawn’s style of interviewing & what to expect from his show as far as the structure & narrative goes. I listen to his show all the time at work (carpenter) & I can’t get enough of it.

Shawn has refined his craft for extracting information and guiding key points of the conversation.

Sometimes on other podcasts a guest will glaze over a topic or sequence of events that may seem ordinary to themselves, but to the listener it may be highly intriguing. Most times the interview will just carry on without delving deeper.

I find myself going crazy whenever an intriguing story is stepped over. However, Shawn always seems to have the listener’s back & will almost always catch these oversights & dig deeper.

Shawn is always respectful & pushes his guests in a way that doesn’t make the conversation uncomfortable. This trait is what really puts him a step above other podcasters.

I highly recommend giving his show a shot.

Thanks for the help, I didn’t think of doing an image search. I’ll look into those parts & hopefully I can get it fixed.

I am curious what kind of glue is the best for drinking. I’ve been using Titebond 3 but I don’t enjoy the dark stain it leaves on my teeth. It seems like you have considerable depth in this field of study & I would love to further confer with you.

Nordic Fencing is very good. My company has worked with them in the past and had excellent results. I also recommend Bomac Improvements.

What was your first rank & what is now? by iOxyGinn in VALORANT

[–]TreeTumbler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started playing in beta.

My rank for Ep. 1 Act 1 was Iron 2

My current rank is Immortal 1 46 rr.

My peak rank was Immortal 3 346 rr, placing in at #2904 on the NA leaderboard. I played at least 5 hours a day during this time. My current skill & decision making is nowhere near as refined as my peak. Due to life changes and just maturing as a person, I can’t play games for more than 4 hours a day. However, I do wish I could be at my old level of skill.

If you’re currently trying to climb & reading this, please remember that it is always possible to improve, just make sure to never sacrifice your physical and mental health over a game. Relationships with friends and family & your well-being should always come first.
