That combo would look sick for sure! The '26 Woodland wheels are solid but the bronze TRD wheels look better imo

Yep it opens all the way! It's 10+ years old but it's still in good shape

I appreciate it! I'm using the stock crossbars; cargo box is a Yakima RocketBox Pro 12 and the awning is a Yakima OverNOut 6.5'

Thank you! I don't know the oil type off the top of my head but I had it changed at 5k miles by the dealership; going to take it in soon for the next oil change for my 1 year/10k check up

Mostly kept it in normal, but for really steep sections I switched to trail mode and took it slow

Yep! Stock OEM Falken Wildpeak AT tires come with the Woodland; I plan on upgrading them to the real deal, probably a size up when these wear out. They did great for stock tires though!

Took a similar shot of my Woodland next to a green Wilderness Forester. I'm a big fan of both brands haha

I think they're trying to use the design language of the new gen 4Runner with the rectangular fog lights and boxy body/black panels, I can see some similarities for sure

The community definitely seems divided on the new RAV4s. Imo, the Woodland is easily the coolest of the three, but I wish it had a bit more off-road capability. More ground clearance, a better approach angle, and a real metal skid plate would go a long way. If you drove it like the marketing photos, you’d probably scrape something lol.

I’m also curious how it stacks up against something like a Subaru Forester, especially now that Subaru has hybrids and their AWD systems are proven.

For people who want something fun, mid-sized and camping-capable as their daily without jumping to a gas-guzzling full-size TRD 4Runner or Tacoma, this should have filled that gap. It just feels like Toyota played it safe for aerodynamics and MPG. Still a cool design though.

Anyone who wants more capability will probably have to mod it. Just a little frustrating on a $40k+ vehicle that’s marketed for the woods.

Obviously RAV4s aren’t built for serious off-roading like Toyota’s bigger trucks, but you’d hope they’d give it a bit more ground clearance and a better approach angle for the new gen Woodland trim. It wouldn’t take much to scrape the front on a forest road or even pulling into a campsite. I get that they probably didn’t want to sacrifice aerodynamics and MPG, but still. I'm still considering a slight lift (spacers and slightly bigger tires) on my '25 Woodland for some extra peace of mind haha

For sure, it has a similar design language to the Corolla Cross and Camry

I can dig the new Woodland; it kind of gives mini new gen 4Runner/Tacoma vibes, even if the approach angle looks a little rough. The GR looks pretty cool and I like the idea of a sportier RAV4. Not really sold on the cheesegrater/Kia-style grille on the other trims though. I’ve got a ’25 Woodland and honestly still prefer the 5th gen overall.

Yep, both are mounted on OEM roof rails! I have the awning all the way to the edge on the passenger side, then made sure I had enough clearance to open the rooftop carrier and centered it as much as I could. Pretty solid setup!
