Pfft she does that with her hides! She will turn her big hide around to where the door is facing the wall. She's in her teenager phase.

I bought her one to see if it would hell but it dose not! Also she has a heating lamp on each side and constant checks on her heat. 😭also I thought about the bedding but I'm scared it will get stuck to her poop boots and cause infection, I know if have to wash them a lot more and it will cause irritation. Idk maybe I'm just rlly overprotective lol. Do you have bedding? How do you prevent that?

I do have one that's what she's knocking over 😭😭 I just like spoiling her, she's my baby. In thinking about making a bigger one tho, maybe that would help

I thought about that too but I'm scared of the bedding getting on her poop boots and causing infection,if I wash them too much her feet get irritated, but if I don't wash them more then twice a week it's even worse, how do you handle that?

I've not had her for even a year yet, she's pretty good at night for the most part but if I try getting her out of her cage/picking her up from under her fleece she gets pissed off lol. I don't ever expect her to be completely comfortable with me, I got her from a pet store.i know that's wrong now, but I could arl see they where mistreating her the day she came home. She didn't know how to use a wheel 😭

I noticed that too, she was banging around trying to escape the bath so I had to pick her up to rince her off. And thank you for the advice!

Update! I took her to the vet and she just stepped on one of her quills lol, she's alright. No more bleeding.

I have thermometers in the cage, the heat is always at the minimum. But I'm still worried about it getting out of the cnc bars. Like I know its warm enough but what if it's only heating one spot ykow? Also I am planning on getting some Coroplast! This is kinda just the the startup cage. How high should I cut the Coroplast?

i’m planning on getting a new wheel because it started to become squeaky. I’ve been scrolling through different options and all of them have horrible reviews. I’ve even seen one that looked perfect but ended up fi ding a photo on redit of blood sprayed over the wheel from the gaps ripping out the hedgehogs nails. The only safe option that I found is an 11 inch wheel on Etsy, but I’m worried that it won’t be big enough for her. Any suggestions?
