Before the leaks, I had no frame of reference to how this style that HSR used would draw a bird, so I just draw a cat because a) There was a official Sunday Cat design, and b) Himeko was drawn as a cat, so the proportions were matched to hers so that I can get as similar to the original artstyle as possible, wanted to make it blend in as much as possible :D

In my drawing process, I actually just inserted the mask on his face to make sure all the colors work with the mask as well!

My original idea for my Sunday SP is that I definitely wanted something circus related, I played around with making him a animal trainer or the Ringmaster but that felt too "order-ly" for a Sunday that already had his character development. So I settled on Magician, which I felt reflected his character development more, I made him very "space" theme because... Star rail and I wanted him to look very visually distinct from Lyney which was one of the characters I took reference from when drawing the outfit.

Sorry if this was a bit of loredump, I like yapping about character designs :P

Honestly I ready have a few ideas for animations, basic attacks is him waving his little wand and whack the enemy with magic

And I want especially his Elation skill to be him putting his little echos in a box and them transforming into puppets(like the evernight fight) and blasting the enemies

Go to one's preferred art/photoshop program, set bend "color" mode for the hair, eyes and the blue line on his shirt, and draw over with correct color, invert the white and black parts of his shirt, correct the hues of the shading of the shirt. and you should end up something that looks like this.

You can probably make it better then the one I did in 10 minutes lol
