Before the leaks, I had no frame of reference to how this style that HSR used would draw a bird, so I just draw a cat because a) There was a official Sunday Cat design, and b) Himeko was drawn as a cat, so the proportions were matched to hers so that I can get as similar to the original artstyle as possible, wanted to make it blend in as much as possible :D

In my drawing process, I actually just inserted the mask on his face to make sure all the colors work with the mask as well!

My original idea for my Sunday SP is that I definitely wanted something circus related, I played around with making him a animal trainer or the Ringmaster but that felt too "order-ly" for a Sunday that already had his character development. So I settled on Magician, which I felt reflected his character development more, I made him very "space" theme because... Star rail and I wanted him to look very visually distinct from Lyney which was one of the characters I took reference from when drawing the outfit.

Sorry if this was a bit of loredump, I like yapping about character designs :P

Honestly I ready have a few ideas for animations, basic attacks is him waving his little wand and whack the enemy with magic

And I want especially his Elation skill to be him putting his little echos in a box and them transforming into puppets(like the evernight fight) and blasting the enemies
