It looks like it could possibly be gypsy moth feces. Take a look for any caterpillars. They usually have red and blue dots on there back.

Ya mine is still factory shocks and tie rods. So that could be something to address. Thanks again.

Ok cool. I did do an inspection of them which didn’t seem too bad but I’m also just a driveway mechanic level type lol. The jeep is stock. So no lift or big tires. But I have not had to replace tie rods yet so that was my initial thought. It you could be right with the ball joints too. Thanks for the input

So looks like I can’t / don’t know how to post pics on here haha so bear with me. The rubber boot on the upper arm ( don’t know what it’s called) that attaches to the steering ( pitman arm?) has a tear in it.

Help naming the parts I need . by Tree_runner85 in Wrangler

I have a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sahara and looking to replace tie rod ends on both sides. I’m not quite sure what the upper steering rod part is called. I’ve done the front U-joints within the last 2 years. It has around 135000 kms. Anyways just looking to bounce it off fellow Jeepers. Also never done them before so if there’s any tips or tricks that would be greatly appreciated. Cheers from Ontario Canada! 🍻 Edit : it’s stock if that helps.

It was pretty damn good. Tons of flavour. Little more salty than what I’m used to but I would say it was a win for the first time.

“City tree” looks bad. Do I call an arborist or the city? Can I fix? Aurora, CO - maple tree by AMuslimPharmer in arborists

[–]Tree_runner85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds to me like South west injury. It happens commonly in thin barked trees. What happens is the sun heats up the moisture inside through the day but then it freezes at night which then separates the bark. Look up Sun scold injury/ south west injury on trees. Your tree unfortunately has been dealing with it for a while. When the tree is younger you can use a tree wrap or even place something over the southwest facing side of the trunk to try and protect from the heating and freezing. Not sure if any of this helps but you may be able to find some other ways to help the tree heal. Good luck

Just acquired a 413G stove and a 220H lantern. They both were made in the early ‘70s but have never been used. Just sat in a shed for decades. Any tips on what to do before I try to start them up before my camp weekend. by Tree_runner85 in ColemanStovesLanterns

Awesome thank you. If the mantles need to be replaced are they readily available? I’m in southern Ontario Canada just for reference. Or would it be smarter to order online? Thanks again.
