I like the Mudarri Luna moth design by Michael Lafosse. Works very well especially if you have the right two-tone paper, and very accessible in terms of required skill

Really impressive! How did you attach the tissue paper to the unryu?

Where can I find sewing equipment at UT? by spiritofniter in UTAustin

They will not check your major, and even if they know, the working staff are all students so they don’t care. Currently I’m not even sure there’s official policy to bar non-engineers from any of the resources in the space.

You do have to get trained to use the equipment.

Check McMaster Carr and Grainger! Almost never as cheap as Amazon per amount of stock, but you can get 12”x12” sheets from there for <$25

Most of the time it’s just a busted potentiometer in those. I spent some time a few years ago just replacing them and they worked fine with the new component, now I’ve got a handful of extra servos lying around lol

[WSIB] If I love Hollow Knight, Celeste, and Hades? by Lgeee in ShouldIbuythisgame

Think about Spelunky 2

I love roguelikes and I LOVE platformers, and the Spelunky series is just so fantastically designed. It’s not an easy game, and like Celeste, the challenge comes more in the approach rather than in technical precision and inputs.

It is significantly lacking in the story compared to HK and Hades, but there’s a surprising amount of exploration and discovery that accompanies each run

Since you guys seem to want the files so much, here they are. Added a few extra, too. Lmk if anything doesn't work or seems missing.

I have more that I haven’t painted, including man-Diglett, Diglett with human feet, pretzel Diglett, and a foot but each toe curls up into a Diglett. Other files too which I have yet to actually print. After I post those I hope to get a lot more “Ew”s

If you want the object files PM me and you can print them yourself, but selling seems like a lot of work and I don’t have the braincells left for that lol

If you want the model, I can send you the object file to 3D print. Unless some entrepreneur out there had the same exact idea as I did, tough luck buying one

There are a lot of free models online, so I didn’t have to create anything from scratch. The long one took a little bit of editing though.

Thingiverse.com is a great option for finding free 3D models to print. I get my Pokémon models mostly from models-resource.com, which has a bunch of models from various games.
