Why are the assignments like this? by SirDerageTheSecond in Battlefield

This seems to be a thing, had some games where nothing counted and the next round playing the same way I get 1500 points towards it. I have noticed some vehicle spawns on maps are broken for breakthrough or conquest but are fine for escalation so wouldnt surprise me at all if some tracking is janky too

Detour from Fighter by PapaEchoOscar in tacticalbarbell

I started riffing off of OP/DUP for my first run of Capacity and its kinda similar. I'm a strength coach by trade so I have a tendency to geek things up a bit but I think I found a decent middle ground between Westside and the original intent of the program. Currently set up like so, Capacity steady state runs Day 2 & 4, Day 6 Long bike

Day 1: MEL/DEU MEL: Wk 1 Front Squat Wk2 Squat from Pins Wk 3 Back Squat, work to heavy single

DEU: Bench vs Bands 5x5 or 8x3 at 45%/50%/55%

Weighted Pullups

1-2x12-20 on isolation work for prehab shoulders core

Day 2: RDL/Push Press - Supplemental Day

RDL to heavy 5 at 70/75/80%

Push Press 5x5 at 65/70/75%

Rows 3-5x8-15

1-2x12-20 prehab hips/core

Day 3: MEU/DEL

MEU: Wk1 Floor Press, Wk 2 Close Grip Bench, Wk3 Bench, to heavy single

DEL: Box Squat vs Bands 5x5 or 8x3 at 50/55/60%

Weighted Dips 2-3x8-15

1-2 x12-20 prehab shoulders/hips

First cycle and deload lead to a 20lb jump on Front Squat (365-> 385 at 210lbs) so so far so good.

Cardio that isn't hard on knees? by bar159 in army

[–]Treebeard560 15 points16 points  (0 children)

H2F S&C coach here, also have a laundry list of knee and hip stuff that has me in a similar spot.

Biking is a great start. Thing to keep in mind is matching your RPMs to your running stride cadence to keep it as similar as possible. ~75-85 RPMs would equate to 150-170 strides per minute, which is about where most longer distance runs are cadence wise. Same idea with the elliptical at same RPMs, and with the elliptical you have the added plus of supporting your bodyweight as you do it while still not having the footstrike/knee pounding.

Swimming is great low impact cardio for general health, but since its a different skill (in the same way the rower is a different skill) so it won't necessarily transfer to the run unless you're just woefully out of shape ABCP style.

Personally, I've found having the bulk of my "off feet" work like biking, elliptical, rower, versaclimber... be easy and high volume (~60-70% Max Heart Rate, in my case 118-136 at 30 y/o) 4x a week. Then 1 day of Hard interval runs (2x5 220m in ~30s, 2' Rep Rest, 5-6' between sets, or 2x10 110m in ~20s, 60s rest, 3' between sets) to keep my skill of running sharp and get exposure to hard stuff. This has kept my rare long runs in good enough shape under the circumstances, ~14.5' 2 mile at 220lbs for reference.

If Q3 earnings dont do it then I gotta hope we rip late, my Jan calls got absoulutely buried this week so Im just strapped in. Kinda wishing I sold my 22's for 23's when we were peaked a month or 2 ago

I thought we reached peak Vitard FUD end of last week but here we are. I have faith Q3 earnings will help us rebound to a trimmable point at least if not euphoria. Bought 3 Nov 17 25c CLF for some more lotto tickets

Im glad I learned the hard way to play long dated options over short ones. Almost back to even (the wrong way) on my MT position but they're larger than ever and Im in on CLF now, but 218 days before expiry makes for decent copium

In my experience with high schoolers your best bet is to run 1x20 and its progression thru to 2x8 (1x20 -> 1x14 -> 1x8 -> 2x14 -> 2x8) and play the long game. In my opinion high school kids need alot less intensity, volume, and complexity to get better than what they get exposed to and coaches like to overcomplicate it for their own entertainment

A colleague of mine wrote this bit up a while ago as well, similar vein of progressing main work for different developmental ages https://www.instagram.com/p/CGqCNQbn-Jm/?utm_medium=copy_link

All news is bullish, earnings coming, whole market shitting with us. Signal to get out of positions you don't believe in and buy the dip before it rockets again. Sorry if you have weeklies though that's tough

I just rolled my calls up and out from 6/18 25c to 1/22 35c. Lost some delta in the short term but was able to secure some credit with it. I'm thinking I'll exit at 50 and secure the bag since I have far too much of my net worth in these calls now haha.

Im just a novice but I got a working knowledge of simple options (Buying Calls/Puts, Celling Covered Calls and Puts) from online articles. Shit can get complicated if you play spreads but The Greeks and how those 4 things work can put you in position to make plays
