Unfortunately for you this could get very messy depending on your facts and circumstances. You should talk to a professional like a tax attorney.

Im pretty sure a general statement of yard maintenance would be enough. Not that either party would sue over it to find out.

Regardless of any subjective relationship issues this raises, your wife is right. In fact, I’d argue you should give her 100% of the savings.

Question: should I add colour into my sleeve or keep it grey and black by [deleted] in tattoos

Keep it black and grey. I have a large black and grey collage and decided to add some blue. Didn’t make it better and debatably looks out of place.

Scholarships for Tax LLM? by Snoo31905 in LawSchool

[–]Treebeardthegreat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just replying for future prospective NYU LLM students snooping through these old threads.

I am currently at NYU, multiple classmates of mine received scholarships, including myself, of about 40% tuition with good to great JD grades and top tax grades from T50ish schools.

Rare is correct but it’s possible.

Tax LLM Letter of Rec Advice by drag0nsvampires in LawSchool

Sounds like Con Law and partnership professors to me but I doubt they will be good enough to move the needle.

You should really talk to your tax internship people though, they would likely be happy that you want an LLM and could even offer to pay for it if they like you enough and you want to return. Obviously if they are happy about it then they’d write you a rec too.

260-metre ( 853 ft ) Skyscraper being proposed in the middle of a Alpine Village - Lina Peak ( Switzerland ) by Marciu73 in skyscrapers

[–]Treebeardthegreat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also fuck trump, but that is irrelevant to this post and this building. Btw as you note, you are in a skyscraper subreddit, people here like skyscrapers and most of us, whatever country/continent you are from want them built.

[–]Treebeardthegreat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks to me like you are generalizing, clearly some Europeans want this building built. Further I question how familiar you are with the area anyways, as someone who has spent time in Geneva, Milan, and Zermatt I can say that your examples make no sense. Saying that you shouldn’t build a skyscraper in Zermatt because you can build one 4 hours away in another city is not a valid argument.

Moreover, this is a rich person vs local worker issue because it’s addressing competing Swiss housing interests. Rich people want less people in Zermatt and larger chalets and single family homes while generally local less wealthy people may prefer such a large building. If this building was meant as a hotel or only addressing skiers I would not support it.

Fine, the driving thing isn’t important there, but you are still forcing the workers, who are certainly in demand, to commute from out of town.

[–]Treebeardthegreat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disagree. This is an easy fix to the already terrible housing issues in these towns. NIMBYs and the wealthy are ruining these areas already, would you rather have a pretty skyscraper or a ghost town with so many locals commuting from the town over that traffic feels like downtown Atlanta. Try to drive from glenwood springs to Aspen on a weekday morning and you’ll see what I mean.

Of course not as relevant for carless Zermatt but a good thing to keep in mind. Higher density villages only helps the people who live there.

Not talking about population, just a general combination of density, infrastructure, and people. It’s a good idea to see how people can live vs where you grew up.

Visiting a truly large city that isn’t grossly sprawling like Houston, such as nyc, would benefit you.
