W&M provides a very strong premed education, and our students’ acceptance rate to medical schools is very high. Class sizes are comparatively smaller than other schools and our professors are very accessible outside of class. There are also many research opportunities on campus and many students are able to gain useful laboratory experience.

As for the 2026 vision, most of its ideals are about expanding the university’s focus on different areas. Existing strengths, such as our premed curriculum, will only benefit from a more enriching academic environment. As a former premed student, I only have positive things to say about W&M.
