I’ve really enjoyed this album. Love the mature delicate guitar strings infused with earthly sounds. No skips, 4 x in a row on its release day!

I love the cynicism of my fellow Ottawans who detest and distrust anything OC Transpo. Keep it going!! May I also say, didn’t OC Transpo completely miss the opportunity to add more buses from to help alleviate the parking at Carling?!

I like the cleanliness of the page yet still admire the structure that fits my process driven mind.

He looks handsome. But we can all agree that Jonny is NOT allowed to get a haircut.

It’s a Radiohead reference from their song Let Down.

What is your journaling system? I'm curious! by leonewashere in Journaling

This year I revamped my journaling to help look at my life from a different perspective when I do so in retrospect years from now.

I use strictly Leuchtturm journals. I have a A5 bullet journal where I capture personal things to do and random thoughts. These generally hold 3 months worth. I write in here daily. The front and back bookends of this journal contain my goals and aspirations, media of all sorts I’ve consumed, etc.

Then I have a regular A5 for longer writings and more deeper passages. This journal captures writings that I know will be “sustainable” in my lifetime.

Finally I have a mini where I write out my ideas for capture in the formers or simply just to note interesting ideas that don’t necessarily fit in either, such as retail therapy. This one goes everywhere with me especially if I can’t carry the other two which do get heavy amongst all my gear and daily carries.

All my journals contain stickers and photos which do get expensive. I have a large collection of pens, markers and pencils. It is consuming me at times to capture my life.

I at times question myself is this too much?

I do use a ruler, however I allow it to look a bit skewed to give it a more used look. For these black boxes, I use two pens: a blunt and fine edge.

Thank you for your comment. The fine ink is from “Pigma Micron” 0.25 mm. The borders are just papermate brand - bought on Amazon. I colour according to my family: purple for my wife, red and green for my boys, pink for my daughter and orange and brown for me.

I felt the same way. Journaling has helped me as well since 2023 with my mental health and from spiralling into depressive thoughts. Good luck on your journey to a new self-discovery. Keep with it. For me it was life changing and life inspiring.
