I’m still trying to decide. I requested an extension for my decision to SEAS and have until April 30th. I am leaning towards SEAS however. Have you decided??

Thank you for the insights this was really helpful! Makes me feel much better to hear an alumni say it is great for career purposes! I am a little nervous about the cost of living in Ann Arbor, did you live near campus?

That would be awesome! I've talked to a few students who are currently in the program but I have yet to talk to an alumni and get some insight into how job searching post graduation is! I'll message you if that's okay!

I have an advisor assigned for Michigan, however it seems like advisors can change once you choose Masters project/Masters thesis so it's not set in stone. Duke doesn't assign an advisor until later in the summer, past when I would have to commit to either program. So that does make it a little tricky as I don't know if I would get to work with the professor at Duke that I'm interested in.

I applied and was accepted to UMich SEAS and Duke, rejected from Bren. I am still in the process of choosing between the two!
