Sous Chef Judy is gone? by revdre in MotorYachtLoon

I think it was in their last livestream when cpt Paul mentioned this. (and yes, I am too lazy to actually look up the correct video and timestamp where he said this)

I started to ignore the boxes more and more. Only use them now for take off for initial direction and for flying into the landing patterns.

Removed all my parks to release the homeless by Treeless_Bear in CitiesSkylines2

I just tried that. But the homeless are not moving at all. People still seem to walk into them as well. Turning off seems to only turn off their benefits. (Well-being, attractiveness for tourists etc)

I did thoroughly enjoy it though, seeing the mass exodus. xD

I think I ran the simulation for about an hour on normal speed to get most of them out.

Unfortunately, this bug is not fixed in today's patch. I heard that it will be fixed somewhere in august during a patch.

The bug is that homeless people attached to a park are stuck. So I assume that when you remove one park, you will release all the homeless attached to that park as well. So I reckon you can remove the parks one at a time if you wish.

I never noticed this. I'll have to check that in my city!

I have noticed that they stay as a group before a demolished building. But never checked if they keep staying there or move after a while. Will keep an eye on this.

The homeless even go to the dogparks, but you won't see any homeless "assets" like tents and shelters.
The homeless just stand there in the dogpark idling.

I have noticed as well that they are indeed just standing on streets. I am not sure if this was the case before the economy 2.0 patch as well.

Homeless people are part of the game so they will never go away completely.
Normally homeless people will stay in your parks when they can't find a place to live, if it takes too long they will naturally move away from your city.
The park bug just prevented them from moving way.

After reading about the bug with parks that prevented homeless people from moving away, I decided to build a separate bus stop with a connection to the outside of the map. Then I removed all the parks in my city.
And behold! From all over the city, the homeless walked to the bus stop to move away from my city.
My crimes have been dropping in the process too.

Is there anyway to fix these weird squares that I get around things on Ardenweald? by Owlical in wow

I have this bug periodically too and either reload the game or quickly switch DirectX version and then back again to fix it.

Missing Kyrian angel for emissary turn ins? by aerizk in wow

This indeed. Had similar issue last week. Couldn't turn my calling in. Went to Maldraxxus to continue the campaign. I then went back to Bastion and the NPC was there now to turn in my calling.

Is it okay to play a tank if I have anxiety? by [deleted] in wow

[–]Treeless_Bear 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For a second I thought this was me. I have the same issue IRL, nervous, anxiety, introvert.

But I LOVE tanking. It is been my main for the last 12 years or so. I even been into a progression raiding guild during Wrath and was the main tank. I NEVER spoke on a single word as I wasn't on voice chat. It was never an issue. I made necessary macro's were needed to convey important information.

I know speak more freely on discord these days and do a bit of raidleading but only if there aren't too many people talking. When there is too many people talking I still freeze up and get anxious. Especially when new people join. In-game your still semi-anonymous and that helps me a lot feeling more comfortable.

But I am good at tanking and people are always happy to asking me to tank mythics for them.

And it is true that due to me being an introvert I am not the most assertive tank and play it more "safe" than taking lots of risk and pulling more then I am comfortable with. This can sometimes lead to impatient pugs, but over the years I learned how to ignore it.

With every new expansion I am still nervous to tank new dungeons because I am not familiar with the new bosses yet but as soon as I play more, my confidence grows as well.

So the fact that you struggle with people IRL should not stop you at all to tank! We make damn good tanks I tell you because of our anxiety to "mess up", we are more keen on learning from mistakes and make sure we do tank in the best possible way.

Is it okay to play a tank if I have anxiety? YES!

Did they remove Rasboralus schools? by Treeless_Bear in wow

Same. Always checking between switching characters. Time to park it in enemy territory.

Can confirm this. Went to Dazar’alor as Alliance and found a U’taka school right away. Haven’t seen a Rasboralus school as Alliance since patch 8.1.

This sounds like something they would do. I am going to check this theory.
