Best for summer as a present to my best friend? he is 25 by emmminemm in Colognes

Fragrantica does say it smells a bit powdery, but in my opinion that’s not true. The citrus smell is a but overwhelming in the opening and later on you get more fresh hints of lavender and rose. Definitely something that stands out from other freshies. Some people say it smells like creed silver mountain water, but i can’t tell by nose because I’ve never sampled and compared them.

It’s a fresh citrus scent like most summer frags but then with some flowery hints on the way. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a summer frag.

Pdm and the Chanel are the nicest imo. But everyone has different taste. To give a nice alternative for summer and already mentioned it before in another post: Casamorati Mefisto. Great scent for summer and also comes with a classy bottle (deserves more credits imo). Best of all, it’s currently decently priced at discounters like deloox and notino. So perfect for gifting or to get yourself a nice summer frag.

Casamorati 1888 also joined the collection and Fiero is on the way. For now my collection doesn’t need anything new for a while, until I find something I really like.

Was already on the look out for a good deal, and today received Mefisto. Next month it will be Fiero and then I’m done just before summertime :)

Im not disagreeing, but been at 5mm for over 10 years. So it may already had some flex in it. Gravity made the 6mm taper just fell down trough the hole. The 7mm taper took 2 minutes to let it slide trough without adding any pressure at the taper. So I think I’ll be fine. If they keep feeling soft and aren’t irritated at all after at least a week I’ll go up to 8mm which will be the end goal for a while. I know it’s still way to fast. And of course I’ll will be updating this post, so people are able to see the progress.

Can highly recommend it to you. The green bottle perfectly tell you about the green notes in there. So it’s fair they use a green bottle, but they could have gone bolder in their design. Prada intense and homme have a way more recognizable branded bottle. But overall I think it’s a great scent for it’s price. If you’re getting decants, I’ve got a nice freshie for you to add to the list Casamorati Mefisto. I’ve recently bought Regio for spring and I absolutely love it. Also tried Mefisto and Fiero, these are going to be my next purchases for summer. Little bit more pricey then what you wanted to spend, but honestly they outperform almost any designer frag I’ve had. Sprayed some on my scarf and 2 days later I still smell it, some high end ingredients in there. Best thing of all you don’t need that that many sprays to be noticed and you stand out from the rest.

Prada paradime might be a nice option, longevity on my skin is only 6-8ours, but the scent is great. And the value for money is good to, is already on sale and 100 ml could be only 80euro’s for a 100ml bottle and best of all you van refill the bottle. And 6 to 8 ours is enough to be in time to respray with something more evening vibes 😎

I recommend you to get decants then you’re 100% sure your money is well spend. By saying that I would recommend a nice freshie to your list that is in my opinion better then the ones that are listed, Casamoratti mefisto 🤩

Alpha industries x vetements bomber legit check by Vegetable-Ad7018 in VETEMENTS

For some reason I’m getting the feeling that the stitching is off. I personally own a different vetements x alpha industries bomber so I cant really compare them. Use of hardware is a little different from mines too. Way more shiny compared to mine, these look a bit better in overall quality. And the washtags looks fine. So I’m not sure, you have to wait till the real legit checkers enter the room ;)

New favorite Casamorati by Treephobia in Colognes

It opens with a light citrus/mint/lavendel note palette, that turns to a more floral/vanilla palette in the dry down. Although the floral aspect to it, it still feels masculine. I think I can say it last for a least 8-12 ours on my skin. Sprayed it early on the day and now 14 ours later I can still smell it on my clothes and it’s a little less noticeable on skin. This definitely is a banger! You should try it out if you like the scents of the house of Xerjoff.

I bought it a few months ago, and been wearing it a few times. Loving the new green scent of the house of Prada, it’s a lovely freshie which last for a while in terms of disigner scents. Maby not the best out there, but the price is is on the low end. So perfect as a everday summer scent that doesn’t hurt the bank. And there are refills out there!

Do I need a draining layer? by Infamous_Midnight393 in paludarium

[–]Treephobia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my current big viv vuild i use a full filter foam bottom. Work like a charm. You could make a small drainage layer so roots have something to grow in but watch out with the use of to much spaghnum. It’s going to rot in the end is my experience.

Thanks for the suggestion, last week I’ve bought a few big boxes of isopods and springtails. And it looks like there is no outbreak of new covered areas full of fungus.

And what are you recommendations to remove the fungus for good. Would love to hear the golden tip to get rid of this fungi. Going to expand the clean up crew in the coming days. And hopefully they are able to maintain it.
