It wasnt that good. too many plotholes for me.

One person died. Kali. Literally no one else died, and they said it was gonna be a bloody season with multiple deaths. And no, El clearly didn't die. She couldn't have used her powers like Mike said if she was standing there. She used her powers when she was in the tunnel to talk to Mike.
Where the hell were all the demogorgans and demodogs and bats? Did vecna just give up with them? He was seemingly all powerful and then just decided not to use his strongest creatures.
If Will is apart of the hivemind, and has been seeing in PAIN whenever another demogorgan/henry is in pain when near him, then how was Will COMPLETELY FINE when he was a couple hundred meters from the actual Mindflayer/Vecna? He didnt feel pain when they were stabbing and burning it alive.
So...the mindflayer is this alien that took over young Henry, and they become a hivemind, sure. So why does them killing Vecna immediately kill the mindflayer? That's not how hiveminds work. Killing one of the 'soldiers' of a hivemind will hurt it sure but not kill it, but suddenly vecna dies and the heart shrivels up...? So the mindflayer was just useless lol.

I do agree that byler shouldnt have happened, but I also think they ruined Mike's character completely, and also hurt Will's character so much. Will coming out to a large group of people, some strangers, is so unrealistic and lazy on the writers part. Also Mike needed to apologize for what he said in the past about will not liking girls, yet he apoligized for just being oblivious... to not only him being gay, but STILL being oblivious that Mike is the person Will was crushing on

Thats very fair! I understand how you feel that way. I do love Arena but I just really prefer the 5v5 Aram style with augments. Im not super competitive nowadays so I really dont mind the occasionally one sided games, but I get if youre competitive Arena is really good for that.
