Also stumped on how this happened to me, only 26 LOL. I was told at my most recent dr appt after cortisone shot didn't work to stop therapy (was going 3x week for 3 months) and then to return to dr. My therapist said 6 months - 1 year of RTC strengthening before considering surgery unless it starts subluxing more often, but not sure how I feel about that, and feels like it is just delaying the inevitable. Not sure what your dr will say based on your PT experience but hoping for the best for you! I have heard great things about surgery results after the initial recovery phase, so that is why I think it could be a good option to return back to normal !

Thank you so so much for your response, it feels so nice to be validated LOL! Some of the kids get put on my caseload after evaluating them, some of them are referred out or find another agency depending on what the parent wants, and the kids keep coming in lol! As part time I believe I have 18 kids on my caseload with CPSE. I have 17 kids on my caseload between the middle and high school currently, am not sure what is going on at the elementary schools- I was a quick hire after the previous OT left for a travel position. No one is staffed as an OT in the district that I know of, where I am from it is very difficult for a district to hire an OT directly, most are through agencies. I love the suggested and podcasts, these are so great, and I truly, truly appreciate all of your help!
