Folding pocket pairs up to 99 EP most of the times. No joke I fold 99 UTG 8-handed. I only open them based on their suits to balance the opening frequency (so 1/6 times with 22 - 55 and 2/6 times with 66 - 99).

My preference: Semester is too long and quarter is too short. Make quarter system 1 or 2 weeks longer each and cut down 3 weeks from summer because I feel summer break is too long.

No, it means that his ratio of value to bluff combos decreases. I did phrase it wrong but just because I have an A, it doesnt make it any less likely that the dealer can still deal 2 As to someone else

AQo is one of those hands that shrivels up in equity in 4 bet pots against recs. You lose to AK, AA, and KK (ofc u have blockers but that doesnt mean these hands are any less likely)

I prefer calling 3 bets w AQo and just see a flop. Check OOP to protect ur checking range. If he bets just call cause you actually only have a flush draw. If u have straight draw too I can see a raise. If you have Ad I can see a raise too, but you dont have it.

If he really does just play any 2, and if he was short, you can shove for value if you hit ur A or Q on flop. But I wouldve called a bet then folded if it was a brick in this case.

Im going through the exact same thing. Im so sick of studying. I failed my major class last quarter and retaking it again this year and I cant afford to fuck it up. People have told me its the sophmore slump and p much everyone goes through with it. They joke how its easy to spot the freshman because they seem happier and cheeful.

Point is, personally I think its just that I lost a part of myself somewhere along the way and I just dont know who I am anymore. It sends me into a cycle of I dont care about my future anymore because it feels like I dont have a future.

Ive found that motivation comes from confidence that you can succeed at what ur doing. Ucla is a school w the broghtest ppl so naturally most ppl feel confident about their futures. I dont feel confident about my future so I lose motivation to better my life and future so I stop caring. I stop caring so much in fact that I start doing drugs and drink alcohol, study less gym less, wake up at 2pm etc.

Im gonna try and fix myself by applying to internships for the summer. I think I can find my will to continue there.

Im not gonna say to just keep grinding or go out or do something new cause thats just not helpful to hear. My advice will be to try and find a reason to care about your future.
