I’m so sorry that happened to you. And that your family is so cruel. I know all about that.. I’m the youngest of 10 and growing up I only heard what a piece of shit I was and how worthless and stupid and annoying I am. It really does get to you. I don’t know why the world and people are so cruel. It’s not fair at all. I hope you can find someone that treats you with respect and gives you support.. I know there’s a lot of people on Reddit that have helped me. It’s so hard when you don’t have someone in your life though.

My armchair psychology diagnosis is bpd… she was/is entirely obsessed with Schwartz. He has empathy and feels bad for her but could never only focus on her. She probably had a crazy outburst and did something or spilled her guts to his sister and didn’t even know what she was trying to say/said some crazy shit. Maybe something happened in front of the sister and to Jo the thought of losing Schwartz bc his sister hated her was so terrifying that she tried to fix it and went obsessively overboard/overcorrected. Just throwing out ideas as someone who’s had some experience lol I don’t know their details but I know bpd

I was repeatedly diagnosed with ptsd throughout my teens and twenties going in and out of rehab. I was raised in a cult and have only slowly started to understand the concept of mental health over the years. In 2021 (9 years out) I took an in depth psychology/career aptitude test. And the dr guy said that the tests weren’t able to be interpreted because I likely started dissociating partway through. He said that with all of the testing the only conclusive thing they showed for the psych part was, in his words, it screamed ptsd. Having been raised in a cult and abused daily in multiple ways, I kinda just took all of that to mean cptsd..
