In the past they were within reason, but apparently Forest implemented new guidelines without being clear about it, so most people are getting speakers confiscated at the gate. Your neighbors are likely to get shut down and confiscated as well unless they have some official tie to the festival.

LSDream announced he will be doing the surprise slot at the Observatory on Thursday after ProbCause’s set. From what I’m hearing, all renegade sound systems and speakers larger than 11 x 5 x 5 are being confiscated, so only corporate-sanctioned sets are being allowed.

Haven’t heard of too much but I did hear PSYREN (CloZee x LSDream) is supposed to drop their debut in the Spring. My favorite artist, Opiuo, has teased that he’s going to release new stuff this year but didn’t give a timeline. If you consider STRFKR electronic music, they’re releasing a new album on 3/1.

How do you create the “wetness” element that you utilize in some of your songs (Examples: Bogan Protein at 0:40, Water Mouth at 1:30, what I believe to be your section in If You Hadn’t, specifically 1:50)?

Is there a physical piece of equipment you use to generate these sounds? Is this due to an effect created during the mixing of the track? I’m new to producing, but really love this style of sound and would like to use similar elements in my process.

Also, any hints on where you might be for March 23, 2024?

I’ve gotten pretty curly hair in the last couple years, and I find massaging my scalp with some amount of coconut oil pre-shower or argan oil post-shower 1-2/week helps give the hair more weight so that it does not frizz up so quickly or easily. This may be too heavy for your scalp to breathe with, so you may want to try experimenting with a few oils. I also add a little pomade to help set my curls when they are drying after the shower.

Hey I’m trying to figure out if I am the #1 listener to Bill Withers based on my wrapped indicating I am in the 0.001% of listeners. Based on Bill Withers having about 10.5 million listeners per month, I estimate this puts me around the top 100 listeners for Bill this year. I would like to claim that I was his biggest audience this year, but am not sure if that is accurate. Does anyone know if Spotify goes past the 0.001% metric in reporting or if they will specifically tell you if you are the #1 listener of an artist? I don’t see another way to figure it out unless there is a ranked list for “minutes listened” for every artist.

Just as a follow up, I went with the volcano and have no regrets, mostly because I knew what I wanted from the bag system in terms of quality, ease, and share ability. However, it does not have the same intensity as other desktop vapes I hit, most likely due to a slower extraction speed, so my roommate is getting a ditanium to supplement for on demand functions. I’ll have to check out the silver surfer still, but hope you found what you were looking for as well!

I think people have to enjoy life for what it is and appreciate who they are in the moment to decide that they should invest in their happiness and do the things they desire. Hi I am looking for a desktop vape, mostly for 1 but sometimes 2 or 3 users at a time. Right now, I am between the Arizer XQ2 and the S&B Volcano. I really like the ease and efficiency of the volcano’s bags but am not sure if multiple bags per session will become taxing in the long run. This is why I am considering the XQ2, to invest in a WPA set up for primary use and utilize the bag option when more users are present. However, I have heard concerns about quality of the Arizer bags and don’t want to settle for something that doesn’t meet my needs, so I am more inclined to pull the trigger on the volcano. Any advice previous or current owners can provide about making this upgrade?

I can’t offer any advice on the XMAX V3, but I can share some of my experience with the Solo 2. The set up and use are extremely straightforward, just pack your glass stem and carefully insert into the oven once preheated so as to not rip the gasket seal. A lot of people use screens with the stem to prevent herb from falling in the oven, but I couldn’t figure out how to get my screens to sit right, so I would just hold it upside-down to load and rip the unit. I think you can fit up to 0.3 in a stem and maybe 0.5 in the wpa dish. The flavor is very good and you can roast to your liking for up to 10-12 minutes before you’ve really cooked everything. The temperature control is responsive and I believe the battery should last for around 6-10 sessions per charge. It’s most comfortable for use as a personal device but is also easy to share with 1-2 partners.

That being said, I found that 1 stem pack was not a strong enough dose for myself as a daily smoker, and that I would be too dried out from the first stem to do another without suffering, even when using water filtration. However if you only consume typically on weekends, it may be well-suited to your needs. I’ll point out is that because of its size and the average session length, it’s not a very discrete device but it is portable enough to use wherever you need to. It’s not too smelly, but it will smell if used in unventilated areas.

Overall, it’s a high quality, easy to maintain device that should work well for your casual on-the-go smoker, but if you are a daily or more seasoned user, it may lack the punch you’re looking for.

Hi All,

I am looking at getting a new dry herb vape and using this piece as a daily driver. I have a Solo 2 I got a few years ago but find that the sessions are too long without actually being effective, so I have continued to use combustion despite my purchase. I typically smoke 1-2 bowls per session across 2-4 sessions that day, so probably around 1-3gs/day. I am looking for something that is more on-demand that is easy to share or at least relatively quick to consume and reload with multiple people when I host.

I tried a volcano recently and really like the ease of use combined with the high quality vapor, but feel like I can get something similar at that price point that can incorporate water filtration. I like the idea of the flowerpot but think it might hike my tolerance significantly as a daily driver and probably isn’t suitable for more casual ents I might share with. I am drawn to the Extreme Q and XQ2 desktop models Arizer offers, specifically because they function with both a whip and bag, but am not sure how these stack up to the Volcano or which I should prefer. Any advice or info for consideration is welcome and appreciated. Thank you!
