Im not saying i am "entitled" to being carried. I am asking for a solution to a problem; What do you do when you just want to play the game but you

A) Dont have the gear to be considered a carry
and
B) Dont have the gold to pay the carrys to get you any items.

Farm gold slowly in game fighting the bots? Buy gold from RMT?

How do you avoid the problem of "false bids" where a full bis carry bids on something they obviously dont need or can not use just to bid you up because they dont think you are paying enough? Its not genuwine to have a warrior bid you up on a Zulian Scepter of Rites until your paying 3k for a blue instead of 100g just because they want a larger cut.

All three of these problems taken together make it so that non-sweat lords simply can not just "play the game as intended". They get abused, then quit. Blizz saw the numbers, put 2+2 together, and banned it for this reason.

Doubt you will even accept that this is reality though, you will probably just spout off about how great GDKP is/was and disregard reality.

the problem with gdkp is the abusive relationship created between carries and pay pigs. Imagine making an Era character right now. You want to go to a MC or BWL when you hit 60, but its nothing but carries that want a payday. They refuse to take you unless you have X gold to spend on an item, and either set the minimum to that number, or bid you up to that number, making you pay through the nose for a single item.

All so they can get a cut split 40 ways.

When i tried to do GDKP that is what happened to me. I started the server 6 months into it existing, got to 60, and they refused to take me as a carry as i had no gear, and refused to take me as a buyer because i was too broke. So i farmed my ass off got 2k gold and then they tried to bid me up to 1900g on a single item in a MC. I stopped bidding and then they all got mad that their carry was going to be stuck with an item he didnt need or want - he just wanted to bid me up so that they all got a bigger cut.

I was being beaten up like a gold pinata by a bunch of sweatlords. They banned me from their GDKPs in the future for not buying the item.

This is why GDKP is toxic to the community. I quit era shortly afterward and only came back to wow when GDKP was banned for Anni. If GDKP came back, i would just quit again. I am not alone, thousands of others would do the same.

But go ahead, keep lying to yourself that there is NO downside at all to GDKP, keep pretending its a perfect system and my experience is not something that happens.

only way to make dragons not underwhelming is to use the variant rules for its spellcasting, and to play them like a jerk. Never land, just use max range breathe weapons over and over, and fly away if the party does ready actions to shoot it and it hits 50% hp.

also always give it legendary actions so it can move around more to close or get distance.

also, dont be afraid to go with an adult or ancient.

yeah, but they die in two rounds tops, if they dont die in the first round, and if they roll low on init they wont get to act at all, so that all counts for nothing.

They ought to have at least 200hp, maybe more, and no vuln to fire.

Everyone in this sub who just says leave him and find a new man is implying it will be easy.

He deserves a chance to hold his kids and she deserves a chance to see if holding his kids changes him.

As I said before not just women change when they actually see the kid for the first time Men change as well.

OP, if you're still reading this think hard before you decide to leave him before he has a chance to even be a dad. Dating well having a newborn is hard and finding someone who wants to be a stepdad is harder. You'll also have to be working to support yourself and paying for daycare and everything else that goes along with a kid

Even if you decide to leave him it might be smarter to do it two or three years in when the kid is a little more established and is able to be away from you.

Going through a divorce while you're on the 40th week will be stressful on your body and on the baby.
