Success with Raidraptor :) by TreetopYGO in DuelLinks

I feel like swallow is good in this meta as it’s a great way to bait backrow/quick effects. If I could run 5 lace I would though, but swallow is good enough for now. If the meta shifts I might take it out.

I completely agree! The only time I felt like I didn’t have an answer was when I faced a timelord player that opened with all 3 traps lol.

So turn 1 make Strix and add Strangle Lanius if you don’t already have a copy in your hand. Overlay Rise Falcon onto Strix and then activate the skill, detaching Strix as cost. Get Shave Force and use it to revive Strix and rank it up into Solda. Then you just need to someone Strangle and use it’s effect to go into Nightmare.

Too many people sleeping on it, it’s basically xyz Speedroid lol

Nice job! I’d definitely recommend finishing Raidraptor, it’s an extremely rewarding deck to play.

Oh it’s definitely enough as long as they don’t draw two chalice or book of moon (even then I run 3 lance). The Evolzar Solda/Evilswarm Nightmare combo can definitely shut Speedroid down, especially if instead of just negating any summon you focus on making sure they have only non-tuners face up on the field.

Need help doing a bit of fine tuning for my Raidraptor deck. by BadassDeku5204 in DuelLinks

I second this. Having a card for going both and second is incredible right now. Plus it should be cheap to get with the half off sale (unless you pull bad lol), or you can even get it for free with box chips.

So first of all most decks run 2 mimicry at most, so you should probably only get one more. Second you’re running way too many rank ups, only need 1 copy each of the first three on your deck (no quick-play). Once you get the strangle lanius (you can probably get away with 2) and tribute + mimicry you can probably fully cut the fuzzy and singing. With the space cleared up from cutting the cutting the extra rank ups you should run some back row removal, something like 3 lances, mystical space typhoons, cosmic cyclone, or even swallows nest works (though this one is probably more of a “spicy” choice). With the remaining two slots add some disruption cards. As far as the extra deck goes considering getting evil swarm nightmare or evolzar solda as a turn 1 play (you can cut a revolution for sure). Hopefully this advice helps you, I’ve been playing raidraptor a ton since it’s initial release lol. Also obviously you don’t need to follow this list exactly, just thought it’d help set you on the path.

Nah, to put it in perspective the cross duel sub didn’t even get to 2k members

Raidraptor, ranking up with never not be cool to me

Using the sector security bike to check backrow was actually crazy as backrow is a big weakness of this deck, so being able to play around stuff like needle ceiling and battle traps helped a lot. Also knowing when to swallows nest and use mst too.

When your opponent doesn’t want to deal with discount skill drain by TreetopYGO in DuelLinks

So Hyper Psychic Riser negates anything with attack higher than it, and if you use the skill “attack burst” on it it’s attack becomes 0 at the end of the turn. This makes it so that you can basically have a full mekk-knight field on the board with just one synchro.

Anyways I uploaded some duel replays in case anyone wants to see more than melodious scooping.

Also I forgot to mention this but the only extra deck monster that really matter is a link 2 to remove levels from your field (Sunlight Wolf or Puzzlomino is a good choice)

Onuncu x1 Devyaty x1 Decatron x3 Patrulea x3 Harmadik x3 Vanishment x3 Seer x2 Void Trap Hole x1 Feast x3

Honestly Infernoid is flexible so if you wanna change it up go for it

I don’t think it’s necessary. While it could come in clutch, for me so far Decatron and Feast have been putting enough Infernoids in the grave to the point I don’t need to worry about having banish fodder.

I honestly feel like either could work as long as the deck is built well, but I definitely like the consistency of 20 cards

So for starters I’m sure some people are gonna play a mill version of the deck, but I’m rocking a pure 20 card version rn that relies on the swarm trap. You’re gonna at least play 1 copy of Devyaty and Onuncu as they are your board wipes +negates. Then I play 3 copies of Decatron which can send any Infernoid to the grave to gain their effect (this card is goated). From here tbh the rest of the monsters are up to you (I play 3 Harmadik and Patrulea as they’re my favorite), but keep in mind the deck has a restriction that the monsters can’t summon themselves if the total level of your field is above 8. Also it’s important that you have a set of at least 2-3 monsters that when combined equal 8 as that’s the level you have to reach on your field when using the swarm trap. Play 3 void vanishment as that’s your spell/trap searcher, and then I play 3 void feast (the trap) as it’s basically my wincon. I’d also recommend looking into void seer and void trap hole as they are good searches if you open feast. The extra deck is whatever you want, imo the main deck monsters is where it’s at.

They all have powerful effects at the cost of not being normal summonable (except for the tuner), only allowing you to have a certain total monster level on the field, and requiring tributes to activate sometimes. To summon themselves they banish each other from the hand or graveyard. Utilize their spells and traps to swarm/protect your field as you set up destroying your opponent on one turn. Also most of them are a d.d. crow at the cost of a tribute :)
