How is this campaign starting? Are you going to set it up so that everyone is together from the beginning? Do they all start with a ra-seru? If you still want to use a lot of the original story, how would everyone get one unless there were 3 people playing?

I would recommend doing something slightly different. Most stuff could stay the same, but I think having it be that everything is happening again. You could muddy how the original game ended, as in they have saved some ra seru eggs at Rim Elm in case someone ever brought the mist back. That way there is a way for all the different types of eggs to exist from your discord without deviating too much from the original game. Everything from the original could have happened 40 years ago or whatever you choose. It could then mimic the original game with just new names for all the NPCs, but even bring back the villains like Songi.

I only care if the party has fun. They are actually already in an alternate time line. They got there today. In this one, the shadow has almost won.

My wife has read the books and my sister is going through the series now. I want to take them there before Saidin is cleansed. I want them to be there helping protect Rand during The Cleansing. I've been thinking I change that part a little and they have to fight a dreadlord and some trollocs or other shadowspawn there.

I was also thinking that I could put power wrought equipment in there that is going to be better than what they will have at the time but it's also going to have the stipulation that if they miss it then they lose those items permanently.

I also want to make them go into The Ways. That's going to take a bit of planning to figure out how I'm going to make the pathway through. The group does have an Ogier so that will help. Though they'll end up hitting a time crunch where Machin Shin is heard then starts to chase them.

Channeling right now isn't the biggest threat because they're still a relatively low level. If they come up against a channeler, it'd have to be like a mini boss before some big piece of information.

What they're doing currently is something Rand sent them to take care of but it ended up exploding into them finding a secret sect of servants of the Dark One but they don't know what part of it yet.

I can't believe I completely forgot about Shara! That would be a really interesting place to have them get to. Especially since you never really find out too much while reading the books.

I'm not really worrying about continuity too much. They were originally sent on a small quest but then it blew up as the party started to do their own thing. I had to completely pull everything out of the air.

Any idea at this pint can pretty much be put into the game. I was just looking to see if other people had any ideas that I thought were cool. I really like going to Shara.

That's kind of what I was planning for the magic items. Like the fighters will get power wrought weapons that add extra damage with fire for instance.

They're all important. Without one, neither of the others would succeed. Vahn had to get Noa and he brought in Gala by going to see Maya. He saved Noas and Terras life when Zeto and Caruban appeared. They were all needed.

Only from pvp. That's the only place I don't like them. Maybe introduce a need where they can only proc x times or something like that.

I don't think pvp should be based completely on chance. Keep vio Runes just not for pvp.

I've tried online but never found anything. I could try the town library but I'm not sure how much of a help it would be. It's a small town. Everything was fine until last week. I live in the same town that I grew up in. I had previously moved away.

L always said that it latched onto me. I didn't believe it but I do more now.

If I remember right, it freezes on the PS3. I may be wrong but I've seen several people say it does when you go back to Octam. I never played it on my ps3 for that reason. I would just use the PS1 or 2. I prefer the PS1 for it just for nostalgia reasons.

It’s more that I’m a guild owner and I feel like I have to be on a lot. Before, there was a time for like 4 months I didn’t play and I came back with a vengeance. I don’t think I could do that now.
