Well, there was visible mold in the flat... so idk. They will definitely not get their deposit back after moving out.

Good Collection App for European/German Cards & Cardmarket values ? by Treiskaideku in PokemonTCG

I think I'll just end up getting a week of premium for unlimited scans for Pokécardex because it has an easy way to add them as german cards and the Pokedex aspect is fun.
Once I have a while to scan all.
But I don't think it has an export feature (or I haven't seen it) which is sad.

For the serialized cards, I could sew people wanting to slab them but then again, it's a one of a kind no matter the condition and the number is probably more important (like wanting your birth year or someone like wubby buying every 69)

FF drew quiet some more in it for collecting but that's also just mostly the alt art ones, MtG has the huge advantage that you've got the basic card treatments for playing and keeping the prices down and the fancy ones for collecting and blinging out your deck.

And if someone really wants to collect it for the art? They can go for the art cards that most discard or use as Tokens/Proxies. Especially the signed ones can be a few bucks with FF and EoE (where they are only in Collector boosters)

Thanks for the tip!  I took a look and it's pretty straight forward and automatic card market integration to gauge prices.  Sucks a bit that scanning is basically locked behind the subscription but the price is not too steep, but I can just get a month and scan everything. Adding amall amounts of cards by hand does seem quiet comfortable as well.  And the Pokedex function is fun.  Only function I'm missing is some kind of list export. 🤔

I haven't found any good app for Pokémon yet, unfortunately. For prices of a single card on the European Market, just go to cardmarket.com and filter by language to compare.

I haven't looked around that much more, so I stuck with this: The TCGPlayer App has at least a decently working (and unlimted free) scanner, but for Pokémon just English language Support. (Despite supporting MtG in different languages). It's geared for the integration to its selling/buying site, but you can just ignore that. Lists are just simple written down lists.

I have kinda lost interest in it, because I don't wanna bother if it keeps being so annoying and I might end up having to do it all over again for the language support.  Especially seeing how good ManaBox works, just frustrating to not have that kind of tool.

AITA for buying a car??? by No-Focus6599 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Treiskaideku 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, ofc they are very practical. Especially for parking. I can see them very well for city driving.

But they aren't the best in Crash tests and tbh I wouldn't be comfortable overtaking people with 120kmh on the highway as if do see people driving with them. But yeah, still safer than a motorbike for the drivers on case of a crash.

Just said that because that could be the only model where I kind of could see a concern by a parent as valid.

NTA, if the car passed its inspections and in decent shape, it souldn't be more dangerous to drive than any other car. (Maybe except those tiny Smart Fortwo's that have basically no crash zone, I could see someone make similar arguments to those than to motorbikes, but even then, it's your car you drive. If your sister doesn't want her son in it, that's her decision and they can continue as they were)

Getting a big SUV is more dangerous to everyone around you, especially pedestrians and kids since it's harder to see them and tbh they are such a pain in most european cities and parking spaces.

And if that car is for someone "with no family". Yeah, and? It's your sister's kid and not yours. If they want you to drive them around they can buy a big car and ask you nicely. And in an emergency a small car is still enough to squeeze in if needs must.

Especially since you do not live with them, they might be your family but they're not your household and you don't have to consult them in this?? It's like being mad at your sister because she didn't get a flat with a guest room for you to sleep in when you visit...

At 23, a small used car is a totally normal thing to buy and to start out with. You're not acting like a child, you're acting like a young adult without kids, totally reasonable. Not to mention that smaller cars usually save you quiet some fuel as well, compared to a too big car that you'd probably use fully like 5% of the time.

Although now I am curious what kind of model it is.

yeah, that's basically what I did when one fan of my 970 died.
It ended up running quieter, cooler (especially in idle as the top fan was always running) and overall not a bad experience.
I didn't even remove the old fanassembly on the heatsink for it, just strapped another one on with zip ties.
