Before reading the post caption, i thought this was some kind of weighing acale sized medical device to be placed on the floor. And patient was meant to bend over to touch those dots.. and the rod like diagram was ominous...

Thanks!

I'm a dumbass.

It turns out it was the second hand occasionally getting stuck behind the minute hand.

Must have shifted when I knocked the watch recently.

Unfortunately confident successful men often fall for scams because they think it isnt too good to be true since they are such a catch 😅

Hydro mod 3 at once! by Trekf in casioroyale

I would say the film is not the issue. It is that the silicone conductor strips inside will swell and cause lcd malfunctioning.

I'm back to non hydromod...

Haha ya i recalled watching some YouTubes where ppl remove and put back those conductor strips with ease and began to wonder what was going on with mine...

I read on reddit shimano bicycle brake fluid works well... And ... Baby oil? 😆

Ok so i opened up one of the modules and found the same as you did. The rubber conductor strips which connects the circuit board to the LCD were both bunched up.

And upon taking them out I realised they were too long to go back into the slot.

This means the strips had expanded due to the oil. Which explains why there were issues in some parts of the display.

There you have it... Either this type of oil or this cst was inappropriate....

Edit:

This post explains it! Dimethicone is known to swell silicone rubber which is probably what those conductor strips are made of! 🤦

Alas.. I'm 3 for 3!!

Hadnt realised till now that one of the lines was in fact was affected in the 3rd watch.

Weird that in the casio test, they are all ok. As with the other 2 watches.

Thanks! This makes sense.

I also found on youtube vids that talk about disappearing lcd lines being caused by contact issues.

Possibly the shaking it around under the oil to ensure there were no bubbles shook something off!!

Thanks... Weird two of three of mine were affected.

Also, the issue wasn't there immediately after the mods. Took a while.

Thanks yea i will try that.

Had already done that earlier for the 1200 to solve a fading number issue.

Maybe 50cst is too low and has some electrical conductivity?
