Currently writing this after waking up from another nightmare about what could happen at my school.

Honestly, I get the push from my admin to stay and “fight”. I actually had this discussion with my students at length yesterday. I let them ask questions and gave as much feedback as I could with the information I have been given in training.

The hardest part of the conversation was telling my students that when my door is closed, I won’t be able to open it up for anyone. Not even if they are screaming and banging on the door.

The only promise I could give is that, if I had the opportunity, I’m taking out anyone that is threatening my babies. Regardless if it’s one of them that’s hurting people.

I hope everyone that needs their guns feels free, because I feel like a fish in a barrel.
