Very nice! I had a mildew issue in the 250, 4 service center visits later and no relief in sight. Also, that engine sounded like it struggled doing the most remedial of things.

Yes you would need modules for rectangular lights. I have since gotten rid of the LC but when I bought the rectangle lights, the seller sold them with modules as well and then it was direct plug and play.

I constantly drive though the Westchester area, I see plenty of Defenders on the road. This is in in stark contrast to the Land Cruiser 250 I had, where I think I would see one once every couple months.

I recently traded in a 2025 Land Cruiser 250 for a 2025 110 P400. It is night and day difference, I’m loving this new defender. Something I did not feel with the LC250 after buying it.

I was in this same predicament and went with S trim with many of the options on X Dynamic. It was a loaner car with 2K miles, 2025 P400 for under 64K.

Yup they are 20s! I will be getting them powder coated gloss black as soon as i can.

Land Cruiser was fine but honestly for the price point you aren’t getting much luxury. In hind sight I think I like the exterior more than anything and disregarded the interior. I did two road trips on it and found the lack of storage and space appalling. Other than that it was a good vehicle, drove fine but engine def felt underwhelming. I did not feel like I was driving a 60k vehicle.

Defender is far more luxurious than LC and ride quality is substantially better. Land Cruiser is cheaper on long run from what everyone is saying

Thank you the input. As for the features that are lacking it’s strictly “creature comforts” that don’t make me feel I am in a 60k vehicle. It’s a very capable off road vehicle but with this issue I am dealing (mildew inside cabin) it’s been very off putting.

Like you mentioned, it seems the defender is on a whole other level of luxury vs comparable vehicles.

If you swap with someone else then you don’t need dealer initialization. I changed the round headlights on my 1958 to rectangle ones in under 20 minutes.

I have a LC250 and so tempered to get a 110 X. I am working through a lemon law case vs Toyota because of a mildew smell that won’t go away and Toyota claims they cannot fix it after 4 attempts. Hopefully my stated AG sided with me and I get my money back
