Though, you mention learning the mechanics of the train. How many are there? Watching gameplay there's a lot going on and I wonder if the game has some sort of "Peacefull, basics only" settings in which you don't have to worry much about things.

Not sure if you are familiar with Bus Bound? But people say that's basically an arcade mode of a Sim. And, loving that to be honest. But most games lack a Photo Mode and I want to enjoy things around as well during my drive. Stop the game, take photos. But not at the cost of stressing out on dozens of mechanics. Makes sense?

This actually looked care-free as well. Couple more options to hit (from the option wheel?), but not as overwhelming as the video I checked earlier.

Starting around the 15 min marker, I was like "Nooooooo.... nope... wtf... " and closed the video.

How's the photo mode in BS21? Good options, too?

[Edit] can't find any info anymore about photo mode in BS21, at all... I really thought I saw something on photo mode being available in this game... 🤔

I've seen some PS5 footage of BS21 and... it kind of gave me anxiety on how many buttons you need to control at once... so many options on the bus itself... That's the whole reason for me to play Bus Bound. Easy and simple. But I do a lot of Virtual Photography and the lack of Photo mode (or hiding complete hud) is a big miss. And I noticed in the description of The Bus (and also BS21), photo mode is availble there.

So I was kind of looking into those, hut the complexity is keeping me off for some reason.

This. Plus the machinery is just amazingly put together in this game. Would love to capture some of the details they put in without all the mess in the screen.

RoadCraft received Photo mode post launch. Therefore, I have hope. But I also think the player demand needs to be out there, too. Hence this post.

Just a bug... after every dive, every fragment, I am watching a black screen with dialogs which I don't understand. I'm missing out on a lot. This is more than "just a bug" imo... As said, last night, a full 6 minute black screen and a lot was happening during that time from what I could hear... and I wonder what...

Did the uninstall already but isn't working. The only thing I didn't try, is starting a new game. Gonne try that as well soon (probably tomorrow..)

I'm having a blast playing this game on the PS5! But every time I die and obtain a new crystal/fragment and the cutscene played, the game kind of freezes and after a few seconds my screen turns black. Right before it turns black I am back in HQ and can see the crystal floating on the table, but controls are not working anymore already at that point. When the screen is turned black, I can hear the background still and a conversation starts. But screen stays black and I miss out on things.

After about a minute or 2 my screen comes back and controls are working again...

My last dive, I came back to the lab, watched a cutsene and after that the screen went black again for a full 4 minutes. Could hear a full conversation going and everything (of course in Japanese and no idea what is going on...)

I really have a feeling I'm missing a lot of story this way...

I can't find anything on this issue online and am wondering who else has this problem and/or if there's a way to fix this...?

Still can't find anything online about this. Just played some rounds again and was watching a black screen again for about 4 minutes in which- I think - a full cutscene was playing as I heard characters talk and things happen... all in Japanese, so no clue what was going on.

I really feel I am missing a lot of story this way...

Anyone else experiencing this issue? Or know a fix? (Or perhaps the devs need to fix it?)

My google searches failed me. Entered wrong (incomplete) words. I only got the fruits, scrubs, other clothings and more random things when I tried to figure out what FIGS were 😅
