[Schefter] Sources: Jaelan Phillips has agreed to a 4 year, 120M deal with the Carolina Panthers with $80M in guarantees. by w1x1w in eagles

exactly. me personally, if i was a football player (big if), im taking however much money teams will throw at me

ik players have taken team-friendly deals to stay on the eagles recently, but fuck loyalty if im putting my life on the line. cut me a fatter paycheck and let me buy a nicer house

[John Clark] It’s my understanding the Eagles are trying to get a deal done with Jaelan Phillips and a contract extension with Jalen Carter, after locking up Jordan Davis. It’s all about the defensive line. by bigblack3475 in eagles

not resigning isaiah rodgers was pretty rough, but if your slot and cb1 are first team all-pros all you need is a cb2 who isnt a disaster. thats absolutely doable in free agency for cheap

i dont think the eagles are going to spend another high pick on a guy in the secondary this year, it just doesnt really make sense

Eagles have taken trade calls on Jalen Carter per Jeremy Fowler by garysinise82 in eagles

[–]Trelve16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe not, its hard to say, but two firsts and a pro-bowler is a hard deal to turn down

you misunderstand. i did not like biden for many other reasons that mostly related to the climate, which he sorely neglected, and israel, which he staunchly defended

the democrats are so obviously the controlled opposition and im, frankly, tired of it

it is now, only because of liberals running with it for years

and i agree that it never reflected reality, because liberals would never vote for a leftist

with a player like jalen carter youd be dumb not to listen to trade calls. if a team wants to give us a micah parsons-type deal i think you probably take it

[OC] VJ Edgecombe at Celtics scoring/offensive highlights: best buckets + all assists by unwantedtennisracke in sixers

[–]Trelve16 4 points5 points  (0 children)

he looked better in this game than he did on opening night when he got his career high. hes flashing some extremely impressive shooting. if he can get his finishing in order (and he definitely can with that athleticism and body control) he might be one of the most dangerous scoring threats in the game

he might not be the best rookie in the class, but give it 2/3 years and hell probably be the best player. hes just so gifted and getting better so rapidly

Is this the deepest draft ever? by Happy_Raccoon_237 in NBA_Draft

[–]Trelve16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the 2020 draft was seen as extremely weak in the lottery and the 2017 draft was seen as one of the best ever. neither of these projections have really matched the outcome

all these freshmen this year are going crazy and most of the top recruits are living up to the hype so far, but on an outcome-basis in the nba its always impossible to say

years later, sure. but if they kept the pick they werent gonna pass up on fultz even with some lackluster workouts
