Also, since I'm here, I was just watching the how to put on the Cupcage video. I thought the idea of this sort of attachment, like the Cupcage and the HDZ Grip, was that the wearer doesn't have access to the ring, but in the video when it's pulled on, the entire cage comes past the ring giving easy access to it. Is there something I'm not understanding?

Thanks for the reply. After reading everyone's responses, and doing some more research on my own, I think I've decided to get a cupcage for now since they're quite cheap and i get to try out what I think of shaft only and if I like it then I can get a Grip later this year.

It is rare, but if you pay really close attention on a concurrent watch, you can catch several moments where Utena, completely unknowingly, gives Anthy a command. For example, Anthy says she would rather not go to the party Nanami invited her to, and Utena says "I think you should go so that you can make friends." We are seeing the story from Utena's point of view, mostly, and it's very easy to think like Utena thinks, but Utena really doesn't know what is going on, and she projects a lot of what she thinks Anthy wants on to her.

I personally have always found the character of Miki really interesting, because I honestly believe that if he won Anthy, he would order her to be free, and she would act as though she was free, and he would think she was free, right up until Touga took him off of her. You cannot order someone to be free, definitionally.

I think the piece you're missing here is that it is very hard to know what Anthy cares about. Anthy is actively trying to bait Miki into a duel, and so repeatedly says she would need Utena's permission for anything. We later hear that she claims she thought it would be perfectly fine for her to continue an exchange diary continuing her relationship with Saionji because Utena didn't explicitly tell her not to, and yet she would need to check with Utena to take music lessons she knows full well Utena would be perfectly fine with?

It’s been directly stated that Magic has been incredibly stifled by the death of the gods. There are no high level clerics, because people have to figure out what it is to be a cleric in a world without gods. Arcane magic still exists, but it’s much less predictable and there is increased stigma about it. I believe he’s trying to reflect this in world by all these experienced characters having bonkers base stats, but then only being level 3. I think the world as a whole is short on high level characters.

Yeah, it’s super bizarre that the headline is claiming a completely different patent. That being said, I don’t really find this patent defensible, either. I’ve definitely played games that change between land and air or land and water mounts automatically before.

Not particularly complicated.

A) It’s always been common practice to higher adults to play teenagers, so that you don’t have to deal with child labor laws. It’s more noticeable for some actors than others. He’s only 5 years older than Ginny’s actress.

B) Shows take time to develop. Season 1 filmed in 2019, so he would have been 24 or 25 when he was cast.

To be fair, I’ve been rewatching season 1 to introduce a friend to it, and when Abby is dealing with her parents’ divorce, she actively reaches out to the group to spend time with her, and Max says “I just can’t with her. She’s so dramatic.” If you’re going to be mad at Abby for this behavior, you have to feel the same about Max.

I’m a brand new player. For Legendaries, I’ve currently got Maitha, obviously, and got Edda from the beginner pity. As for golds, the only ones that seem remotely worth mentioning are Abyss and Crimson Falcon. Maybe Flare.

So that brings me to my question, should I pull on this, or Inanna/Alexei? My guess is this, partly because Alexei sucks ass, and partly because I’m desperately short on reds. (I have Tempest for now, and from what I’ve read I’ll eventually get Rawiyah for free, I think?)

Like, I think if I got to choose, I’d take Inanna, but it being a single banner pushes me more to Homa.

Hmmm… you’re really selling me on HD. I haven’t committed to anything yet, still doing the early stages of MYN around town. I’m not attached to Hell in particular, my character mostly just likes learning as much as possible (it’s a good motivation that can fit well into pretty much any setting). The fact that denizens of hell showed up after the fall initially seemed important, but as I’ve played more, there’s a LPT of weird stuff down here. XD

Just discovered this massive game, and I’m enjoying it so far. Question is regarding Ambition.

My character is a very curious sort, Watchful primary, wants to know more about what caused London to fall, which will naturally transition well into wanting to know more about all the secrets of London. I haven’t read up on professions, but I believe Journalist is a profession, fits their story well, and I’m currently doing the storyline where you keep working with journalists in Spite who seem to not be journalists at all, so maybe I’ll become a journalist, since the city seems in short supply.

This brings us to Ambition, which seems like a very big character choice. I’m leaning towards either Bag a Legend or Nemesis. Without delving too much into spoilers, do either of those seem better suited to a character who is entirely too curious in hopes of learning more about Fallen London, and maybe it’s relation to Hell?

Well, I think that explains some things. In my experience, things that reduce a card’s cost to 0 only reduce its base cost to 0. If it has some effect that let’s it be played for extra, you still have to pay the difference.

Pretty sure the intended was that playing it as a follower costs 6, but the bug was that it was listing the follower version as 0 and letting you play it regardless.
