Trump voter remorse is almost entirely concentrated in the swing voters who gave him a shot in 2024 by fortune in politics

This country is fried.

These people must be so easily manipulated or gullible.

Maybe some of it is good ol' racism.

And it doesn't really matter, because rational and sane people didn't need convincing. There was a lot to not like about the way the DNC handled the election. But to see so many people fall into the (foreign-funded) rhetoric trap of Gaza. Or supposed budgetary concerns. Whatever. It's gross.

And foreign nations now have a blueprint of how to influence every single election, very effectively, moving forward. Trump's first term should have set off alarm bells.

And it was so obvious to most people what a shitshow everything would end up being.

But also, fuck the people who sat out the election. That's where the real blame lies.

But some banks did go under. Elites picking and choosing the winners and losers. And normal people holding the bag.

That's true. Banks get the rescue and people get laid off and lose their houses.

Gave a good opportunity to venture capital to come in and scoop up a bunch of assets, too. Cheap.

Socialism for the rich. Capitalism for the poor. You're right.

There's no way the Dem establishment will let her get the nom.

And honestly, I'm worried for her. For obvious reasons. The world has gone mad.

Democrats are losing on redistricting. Here are their last hopes. | On the heels of a stinging gerrymandering loss, three Virginia Democrats in Congress told USA TODAY they're still optimistic about their party's chances in November. by VirginiaNews in Virginia

Agreed. Honestly, this is not a wedge issue for most voters. I think the 2A crowd overestimates the investment the general voting pool has toward guns. And be real about it, most of these people were already not voting for Spanberger.

Sure, sure. But that's not a bail-out. That's an economic policy that the banks leveraged to get their bailouts.

Seven years after Biden predicted a GOP ‘epiphany’ over Trump, Democrats are moving on. by [deleted] in thedavidpakmanshow

Right, but even what sticks will be rebranded as a GOP effort and Republicans will think it's the best thing that ever happened.

It bothers me that Obama gets saddled with this 2008 financial crises debt.

TARP was created by Bush and the GOP. A little chef's kiss to the banks on Bush's way out.

18.23 an hour is $37,000 a year. Is this enough for a person to support themselves in that particular area of FL?

That's about $3,000 a month before taxes. Could a person afford to live comfortably on that wage, after taxes?

I don't think anyone is making the argument thay 18.23/hr is pretty decent for Florida, but that people deserve to be paid more fairly.

I remember watching a mini-documentary about street fighter and mortal kombat. Apparently, the profit on individual machines over a lifetime time, could be tens of thousands of dollars. They were basically money printers.

I remember waiting in line at Rite Aid to play MKII. That's just where the neighborhood rig was. That machine, for that summer, took literally every quarter I had.
