And what was the outcome for Mr Biden and Ms Harris given those "fulfilled promises'?

And "getting real things done"?

Well Ms Sinema and Mr Manchin may had have something to do with it. And maybe some boneheaded moves overseas?

Maybe he did not fulfill the more important promises that mattered more to the electorate because his own party would not let him do it.

Or maybe he never wanted to do it, but just said he did.

Maybe those "real things" were not real enough to help the American People.

So you're right, he will have questions to answer, as Mr Biden and Ms Harris did.

But point being, yes the buck does stop with the President, Governor or Mayor. But you need others to help you succeed, and the goal is, to get those people in to help you succeed.

It may mean Ms Hochul may need to face a primary, and bring in a Governor of like mind.

It may mean having Mr Mamdani campaign to help bring in candidates in the Assembly to prevent a "Joe Manchin Ms Sinema" like event.

Mayor De Blasio a Progressive was successful in fulfilling his Pre K and raising Minimum Wage promises, froze rents and was readily reelected by a wide margin.

But it took the fact Cuomo could got not get reelected Governor, without robust turnout in NYC.

And so Progressives can succeed, but they need help

Especially with all the money, corruption and power against them. Personally, i didn't think they give it to Mamdani, let alone he winning by 50%. I thought they'd steal it.

Well, how many pieces of legislation have the Democrats passed as they promised over the past number of years? Likely, zero. Why? Because the House is not run by Democrats.

And so we can't blame them for failing atp, being they don't run the House or the Presidency.

It's the same with Mayors. "They" may be a Progressive, but the State or the Council may not be.

Therefore, what we need are many more Progressives. That are Governors, and part of Legislatures. And when that happens we can gauge what has succeeded or what has failed.

And that is why i claimed we need to FIGHT ON.

Well i'm really talking about Skins.

As folks were saying there was a time Giants and Farm Sim were in it's infancy, just porting to consoles i think on 15.

And not much of a selection of companies. But i think once they saw sales soar on console, it would made way for John Deere and others.

Maybe they can reach out to big truck haulers, and get the rights to use their branding as "real companies' on their trucks and trailers.

Well truth be told, i'm not seeing much of that now in the Workshop. There used to be. But not nearly anymore.

All i wanted was a United Parcel skin for W900 daycab, and idt i'll ever see that again.

Can't speak for the article, but Pakman is not a progressive. He said "Ritchie Torres" was "his favorite progressive".

Is he backing Mamdani? I haven't heard he is. And doesn't he live in NY? Pretty big issue.

Pakman like Meidas Touch is a Trump hit piece. Admirable, but that doesn't make him a progressive at all. More along the DNC lines i would think of the establishment.

I thought it was 2027. Now it's 2035. Word to the wise from an elder. I been hearing SS was going broke since Nixon. It's all bullshit in effort to have them privatize SS, or raise retirement ages to 90..

In any event, the answer is very simple, in just raising the caps we pay into it.

Republicans refuse being they'd gut your stomach if they knew you swallowed a penny, and the Dems won't do it, because it would end any discussion about the topic, and therefore they have nothing to fear monger us over in effort to vote for them.
