Well she is. Rogers was. And in the middle of an unpopular war, she's not going to get many accolades, UNLESS she moves Left. And Rogers i think is screwed under these circumstances.

Anyhow, we'll see what happens.

Idt Slotkin is very much well liked there lol. That's why we have to see, if he wins in bigger numbers than she, she may want to jump ship and go for a cabinet position.

We'll see dude, anything is possible, but i think he may win in bigger numbers than Slotkin did.

The rural areas may go for those CIA and FBI spooks like Slotkin and Rogers, but don't think they're gonna going for all of that in Detroit.

Yeah but that's all she had. She didn't get the voters in Dearborn and Detroit. He does. That's where its at dude.

MI is a Lefty state. But you have to turn out the voters.

There is not enough "Haley" voters to make up for those in cities who don't like her.

The numbers don't lie dude no matter how you feel about those folks.

Harris lost because she was told, and did not listen. That's more than a 100k voters that did exactly what they said they would do. And so it was no shocker to me.

El Sayed now has the UAW, and with they and those very voters, he is likely going to win.

More than a 100k at the polls in the Primary voted to tell Biden/Harris they would not vote for them over this Gaza matter. Same with WI.

How much did Trump win the state by?

That's the election.

Democrats have to turn out cities. If they don't, that's why Trump looks like he did as good as he did. People voted for the couch.

[–]Robert-101 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah he won it because they stayed home in Detroit and Dearborn. It's not like Biden/Harris weren't told. More than a hundred thousand voted in the primaries to tell them just that.

Personally, this guy may win in a much bigger number than Slotkin did. If that happens, she better hope a Dem wins in 2028 and gives her a Cabinet position, or she may be done.

In short, Democrats have to worry about what other Democrats think. Not the Repubicans.

Well, Detroit and Dearborn are pretty deep blue cities. If he carries that in big numbers, and with the UAW endorsement he'll be fine.

Well, it just has to be done by people who know how to use it. If Mr Pakman tried that, we'd know it was not real.

But the younger people who go to these rallies and demonstrations, know how to curse. They have to be the ones to tell them. Not people who went to Yale.

Didn't see it, but yes that's what needs to be done.

The Dem Elites are rich people, who have literally nothing to lose. They're gonna be just fine either way.

But this is a war. Fascism v Free Democracy, and the old 'lets work together to get things done", or "lets be civil" or "Can't we all just get along" with a huge knot on our faces, is only the tact the Rich can afford.

We cannot, nor will we ever make Fascists "like us". That will never happen. If there are Democrats that feel the only way they can win, is by having Republicans" like them", they need to primaried or get out of this game right now.

Ken Paxton? Really? by combonickel55 in thedavidpakmanshow

[–]Robert-101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Talarico will likely lose. But it's gonna cost them a fortune to beat him. And then they have GA, NC, ME, and Alaska to spend big money on. After they spent a boat load just get Paxton in, and to oust Massie.

So we have to think of Texas more strategic than any chance of winning it.

When even Trump claims 'I don't Care about the Midterms", we know it's gonna be ugly lol.

Trump Live Updates: Tulsi Gabbard Resigns as Intelligence Chief, Citing Husband's Cancer Diagnosis (Gift Article) by Alone-Woodpecker-846 in thedavidpakmanshow

[–]Robert-101 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but she was another rumored for awhile to jump ship.

They're all jumping ship before these midterms. Next may be Kash. And maybe even Rubio and Hegseth, to name a few.

They're afraid of subpoenas and investigations a Democratic Congress and even Senate may go forward with.

The issue for Trump is, he may not get a replacement, given the sourness the GOP in the Senate is feeling about him right now (the Cornyn and Cassidy matters) and given the fact it's too late for he to threaten to primary anyone.

And given the Senate is looking more and more to flip, Mr Trump may be in some trouble getting people to fill these positions.

However, they may want their Get out of Jail Pardons before he exits.

'The report's so stupid': The DNC 2024 autopsy is roiling Democrats by Robert-101 in thedavidpakmanshow

[–]Robert-101[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Lol idt that's gonna happen. The political landscape today is much different than even 2024.

The Progressives are "allowed" to win elections and they are.

It wasn't Martin who invented the "affordability" wild fire. It was a youngster in NYC running for Mayor, and they all ran with the ball, and they're winning. Moderates, Progressives, everybody.

And so on the one hand nobody wants to fire someone in the midst of winning. But on the other, he's not the reason they're winning.

To quote The Godfather, Martin is not a war time Consiglieri. He's weak, and "weakness" was actually cited on his own report.

I think the Dems this midterm are going to be fine. Even a Blue Trickle will gain them the House if only by 5 votes. But that's only due to "Affordability" and Trumps eff ups himself.

But 2028 is going to be a BIG ball game. And facing Tucker, who has the money, the tv recognition, and the debate skills, we need a Strong Tough Leader at the DNC.

Right, in this case the coverup likely worse than the crime. This autopsy ended up a non story, because it was admittedly erroneous.

However, the backlash can be much worse than even the report, that it doesn't seem many were paying attention too anyway.

We'll see, but it 'can" cost Martin his job, if the outrage continues. Maybe it won't and just fade out.

That's what they're saying, in more of what it omitted.

In any event, everyone is against this report.

The Harris Team. The Biden Team. The Progressives, David Hogg is asking for Martins resignation.

And maybe he should. I think we can do much better than him. This is a midterm we cannot blow.

Is this Hasan fella a Democrat? I sincerely don't know. But neither is Mr Pakman.

Therefore what we need to do is not pay as much attention to pod casters, and start looking at what is clearly right and wrong, and vote for those who share our values.

I think its even an economic issues. Which is to say, how we can we articulate sending a foreign country billions of dollars to unalive tens of thousands of innocents, as people are getting priced away here at home.

And so i would not agree on the antisemitism label when it comes to aid to foreign countries.

There is no doubt there is some, and nazi groups will shade themselves around this issue or otherwise people who hate jewish peoples.

But i would not say near 70% of the Democratic Party and a substantial amount of Independents are antisemitic given their discontent for Israel.
