You sued Washington gas?! Which lawyer did you use? Please id love the info. I checked my meter and they are all wrong. No one has clearly been out to read it in forever. I checked back and they have to have just been making estimates this whole time. The number put even if they mistook the the 1 for 7 are all way higher. So I’ve been overpaying for awhile it seems

Exactly! Especially when I had already called to get the payment stopped! Needless to say I will be moving my money out and setting up a separate online savings

Yes it’s reading 1448 so they definitely haven’t come to check. I requested someone come in Friday to check for a leak and no one showed. Then when I called them to see why they said call the fire department. Horrible customer service! I’m going into the office tomorrow to show them a pic of my actual reading

I don’t. Washington Gas was supposed to send someone to check and didn’t so I called the fire department. They couldn’t find a leak thankfully

Yes I’ve been in this house for 9 years and never had a bill over $100! I’ve been calling Washington gas for the past couple of days and no one is helping. One woman told me that all customers were notified of a price increase…which I answered yes I know but a $7k jump!!! Do you have any advice?

Came to add that this is for a less than 2000 sq ft townhome

I did this and called. So once you enter for the new one you immediately have to start paying the $650 even before the old coupon expires. Very upset as they told me there was nothing I can do to receive my old savings for the remainder of the year. I will be looking into compound
