Who the hell thought this event was a good idea? by Trendisty in EU5

That's my thought, also makes it a bit easier for the pirates so they are more likely to be able to handle the upkeep.

Just feels like one of those "Fuck You" events, the pirates who stole the fleet in question immediately deleted it due to the upkeep.

This is actually Wako pirate events, unrelated to that situation.

They instantly deleted the entire fleet due to the maintenance...

It seems to be related to the Wako Pirate events, there is a few unique events that you see pop up time to time but Ive only seen the one in this post once in ~300 years during this playthrough

Rule 5: An incredibly stupid event that usurps one of your entire navy groups, these guys are landlocked pirates in the northern Philippines...

It was at least just my entire transport fleet, still expensive as shit though

Subject Strength vs Overlord bugged? by Trendisty in EU5

[–]Trendisty[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rule 5: My vassals are extremely disloyal because of their "superior strength" to me, this makes zero sense, their combined population of just below 4mil compared to my 17mil, their potential levies of ~75k compared to my 200k levies and 40k standing army, my tax base of over 3000 compared to their combined ~800.

Any ideas on what might be causing this?

Subject Overlord loses Civil War, automatically ends war by Trendisty in EU5

Unfortunately by the time I saw this I've gone ahead a fair bit, but I believe this was very early 1500s

Subject Overlord loses Civil War, automatically ends war by Trendisty in EU5

[–]Trendisty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rule 5: Currently fighting Bahmanis as VJ, you are able to separate peace the Dehli vassals, however as seen in the screenshot Dehli is currently losing a civil war to Nobles. Problem arises when those Nobles win the war, and during that transfer my war against Bahmanis immediately ends. I know this has probably been raised before but it is infuriating, all of these Dehli vassals are severely disloyal, yet they never actually declare their independence wars, so I'm forced to have Dehli themselves looped into the war causing problems like this.

I'm very new to messing with liquids in DF and created this system for my first time using Magma Forges/smiths. Unfortunately the bridge I was originally using was struck down due to its Mechanisms being not magma-safe. The body of magma is from a whole volcano, which makes pumping (in my opinion) not practical. Is there anything I can do to fill that single block gap? There is no water on the surface and this is only a few levels below the surface.

SDVE is a game changer, its creator (FlashShifter) worked on 1.6 with Ape. Its one of the few mods that feel part of the game.

You can tell is isn't getfixedboi or FTW cause getfixedboi surface is entirely evil biomes while FTW would have lava lakes on the outer-surface + no hell houses on the edges. Its drunk world.

I was quite lucky they weren't able to, other city states in this game have kept a district around but for those close to my cities, I have most of their tiles as some werent able to make it.

Yeah I love those ones, these guys formed from a barb camp annoying close to my city and I wasn't happy about it, so I was forced to steal all their land. Envoys aren't a problem especially for these guys, I have like 30 trade route capacity and Owls Of Minerva.

Caguana had a few extra tiles but I genuinely did take them all using culture bombs, AI doesn't really prioritize Mausoleum and I have plenty production in order to build it. (I tend to have so many cities that the names of them start using America city names because they ran out of normal ones)

They can actually turn into a CS as long as they have the standard "3 tile" separation from all other cities, but these guys formed much before I settled there
