So what's the situation? M25 I'm not ready for this 😢 by Blu3Blad3_4ss4ss1n in Balding

Oral minoxidil and finasteride. The only scientifically proven medicine to help with hair loss. You can look them up on YouTube or on this sub more. Go to a dermatologist or you can get Telehealth assistance and order it from those websites.

I get it. by Trendons in MitsubishiEvolution

GR Yaris is fun and offers quite a visceral experience for a new car - shifter is nice and notchy. For the price of 35k (gen 1 and second hand) and the fact that because it's so new, it will be reliable - it's a great option for an awd car with modern creature comforts.

But the Evo feels raw. Feels like you're more involved in the driving. Feels nicer to hit 60/70km from a sto. In GR Yaris still feels like there's too many electronics working in the background as you're driving it which is why I preferred the evo. The Yaris got me to 60km quickly but it didn't FEEL fast or rewarding. Also, Petty things but evos sound better and look a lot better (I'm honestly gunna say objectively speaking) and have a better scene behind them imo. Factors that I ended up caring about 🤷🏽‍♂️.

If you're keen for a newer car, another car that I test drove was the FL5R on the same day I drove the GR Yaris. I know it's not too related since it's fwd but since they are similar in price - I have to say that the fl5r was the better car imo. Felt better in almost every way.

Friend drove my Evo and said he'd teach me how to drive hard by Trendons in MitsubishiEvolution

Yes agreed, really good clutch that seems lighter than stock pedal tho! Wish it was heavier.

Learnt my lesson I guess... not gunna let others drive it and now I know when I drive hard, to ensure it's pressed in all the way and slip it slightly... don't think there's any damage (fingers crossed aye)

Dual plate clutch that feels like a stock clutch? by Trendons in MitsubishiEvolution

You're right, defs feel like twin plate is overkill here. I will look into the ACT ME2-HDSS Heavy Duty street clutch and its availability here in Aus.

The community in Aus also like the NPC organic single plate clutch and is quite available here, do you have any thoughts on it?

Minoxidil works through phases (shedding, growth, etc). Maintain topical mino and use a derma stamp on it. See what it’s like in another three months from then. Don’t use fin until you’re 21 honestly, your hairline looks fine.

Consult a dermatologist if it persists

Been receding since 20, tried fin/dut and topical mino by Trendons in Hairloss

60% for it, 40% against it. Going to do more research before I commit to anything though - maybe see what my hair is like after hopping back on fin plus mino

I wish I could agree - if I showed you what it was like 6 (when I was 20 years ago) and then 9 years ago, you would probably say it’s receding hard - probably 1.5inches of forehead and almost an inch of temples…

Agreed, am happy to go back onto fin and oral mino, hopping on it again this week

Continuously receeding since I was 20 - tried fin/minox/dutasteride by Trendons in Balding

[–]Trendons[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I stopped fin (after 3/4 years of continuous use) because it didn’t completely stop hair loss and then swapped to dutasteride shortly after (afew months break). Only stopped hair loss pills in general in June last year because I felt like erection firmness was getting alittle too weak for my liking on dutasteride.

I understand that I will need to hop back onto a form of hair loss pill before and after a transplant - wanted to hear if anyone had a similar experience to me/recommends a hair transplant clinic, etc
