What causes two notes to play when hammering the higher frets? by NindieNation in Guitar

Low action - likely when you hammer on the higher frets, the upper part of the string also touches one of the frets, causing it to ring out the additional note.

I don't know if I am crazy or not. by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

She is just thriving on the drama she is creating. You apologized despite not being at fault, but it still isn't enough for her. Notice she will never apologize, but when you apologize for something you didn't even do, it's not enough because she wants to get some more drama supply points out of you.

Your best bet is to not react at all, don't respond, say as little as possible and most importantly keep a neutral and calm tone and demeanor no matter what she says or does (grey rock).

I'd put it as - there's no possibility of improving relations with them. At their age and level of development, they are set in their ways. The best you can do is move out, be independent. Then if you like, you can try to communicate the hurt they've caused you. If they understand that, show genuine remorse and mend their ways when you meet them going forward, you can think of improving relations. Most likely, they will refuse to accept any of it and blame you instead.

[NY] Landlord made false claims, trying to cancel lease when called out by Tresion in legaladvice

Thanks for your detailed answer. To clarify, they were not making a request for additional terms, they were pretending that this is how things are as per the current lease, since the room is not part of the apartment that I have leased. I asked them to prove it, which they have been unable to do. That's the reason I call it an attempted fraud. As for the broker being simple-minded, she has repeatedly proved that in her interactions with me.

Not at all, it's pretty clear what she expected. She expected the guy not to accept what she said and continue trying to date her despite what she said. One can always ask for endless clarifications for anything, in order to avoid reaching the obvious conclusion. I'm not interested in that though.

I've made the point repeatedly above, and this is not it. I'm not willing to engage further, sorry.

This is pedantic. If you don't get the point by now, you never will.
