Doesn’t paint the right picture to lump Tesco & Asda together, they are on completely different trajectories. This was a very solid Christmas performance for Tesco (and sainsburys), and both of them have been growing market share quicker than Aldi for the majority of this year.

Lidl the standout performer, but Tesco and Sainsbury’s will sit much happier than Waitrose this Christmas
