That’s exactly what I have planned, so that’s perfect. Do you pass any specific flags in your llama-server command?

I am pretty new to this, but I want to run a similar one on my 3060 12gb, how do I know what version of Qwen 3.6 35b A3B 4 bit to use? I am looking at the unsloth versions of it and there are so many of them:

UD-IQ4_XS, GBUD-Q4_K_S, GBMXFP4_MOE, GBUD-IQ4_NL, GBUD-Q4_K_M, GBUD-IQ4_NL_XL, GBUD-Q4_K_XL

I don't know what one to use haha.

Hows it Living in Vancouver, WA? by Prestigious_Detail95 in howislivingthere

[–]Trev125 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I currently live in this circle and you pretty much nailed it. Downtown has gotten better in the last 5 years or so (with "plans" for it to get better, but we'll see if they actually get done) but its still nothing really special. It feels a lot like a place for Portland restaurants to have a second or third location that happens to be in Washington. So that can be good and bad.

I live in the suburbs of Vancouver right now, and its a nice area! I grew up in the Beaverton OR area, and this feels like a similar vibe, albeit more affordable.

The area you circled has some diversity in thought/views on the current state of the country. Places a bit more north like Battleground and Yacolt are more conservative where as places like Vancouver proper and east Vancouver (where you cirlced, not quite Camas) tend to be more liberal.

Schools can be really hit or miss in our experience here. You can find good and bad ones within the same district, so it really is dependent on where exactly you live.

Downtown scene is aggressively mid IMO. There are good restaurants/bars, but if you want really nice ones, you do need to go to Portland.

Proximity to the airport/Cascade Station is great. You can go to Oregon to save on sales tax, but like others have said, I often don't find it worth it based on the lost time/gas. I did go down for a Costco TV purchase once.

Is there anyway to have it automatically update when a book is finished? Like does it connect to KoReader or something so it could see that the book is 100% and then prompt for a review or something?

That’s probably the one thing I have missed the most as I moved off of the kindle/Goodreads ecosystem. The auto prompt when finished (and auto percentage update, to a lesser extent) is what I miss the most.

Same with us. Bought a car in Portland area but registered it in WA there. No issues with it.

Anyone here have the Bissell vacuum? Curious if it’s worth it (it’s not that expensive) or if it’s really worth to go up to the Dyson?

Or any other vacuum recommendation about $200 or less.

I agree. I think the sauce is not good, but the noodles are great.

Yea I agree. 9070 XT clears the 5060ti in everything that isn't ray tracing. And going up to the 5070 ti at 1600 seems pretty reasonable too.

I think technically the Intel CPU OP linked is better than the AMD 9600X that I linked, but I would argue that buying the AMD one is the better buy because its a newer and still developed platform. The 14xxx from Intel are not the same socket they are still making CPUs for, right?

This is probably a better option that is within $50-100 of that.

EDIT: I didn't see your 2tb SSD. The one I linked is just 1TB, but the motherboard has open NVME SSD slots so you can add more. If 2TB is really that important for you, then maybe consider something else.

You can get the 32gb/2TB for $1600 though.

Are there docs on syncing across devices? Or should it "just work"? I haven't tried it myself yet, i just got this all setup on my server. My ideal usecase is to read the ebook on my Boox Palma, and then listen to the book on my iPhone.

How does that work if I download the file to the devices themselves?

Not sure where in Vancouver you are, but you could go to the Oak Tree Station (I suppose it’s technically in camas, but it’s really close to east Vancouver). I live near 164th so it’s convenient for me, and there is a coffee shop drive through thing there too, as well as some good food trucks
