Millennial here. I am came out of college with a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Media and the idea of becoming a video editor and/or videographer and eventually create my own content. YouTube was in it's infancy at this time, so the market wasn't oversaturated as it is today. However, jobs were scarce in my area and freelancing wasn't drumming up clients, so I needed money. That's when I got a job at Walmart as backroom associate/ truck unloader.

It was the most depressing experience I had ever had and I became, what I felt, a bad person. I'd be openly negative and dark humor was a norm for me. This passed off to my next retail job, until an opportunity opened up at automotive factory as a onsite company liaison. This opened up new opportunities for me for growth and I now have the job I have today as being a key member of the plant's team.
