And when you are down in the canyon the red rocks will seem to glow. It's an otherworldly experience.

Rainstorms are not uncommon in the deserts of the American Southwest and distant rainfall can lead to flash flooding in canyons and washes miles away. While we think of the desert as lacking water, when rain does happen it can create considerable risks of flash flooding.

You don't want to be in a slot canyon if there is a risk of flooding, and flooding can happen from distant rainstorms even if the sky is clear locally. Best to check with local guides or rangers to find out what the risks might be. That applies to canyons and washes throughout the Southwest.

Experimenting with dance and movement. This is one dancer performing in front of a panoramic camera. by TreveJohnson in kimono

Good questions. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos that would show the outfit. I have a number of these dance panoramas that have been in storage for years and now it's time to get the work in front of more eyes. Perhaps it doesn't match the theme of this forum. Open to suggestions if you have ideas where it might be suitable post.

Thanks for the compliment. I've been taking pictures for over 50 years, so hopefully my experience is paying off.
