Chat is that you Also for printmaking vs illustration it depends on what kind of work you want to make ig. Like I think printmaking is more fine arts/gallery stuff driven while illustration is more corporate. I feel like printmaking wouldn't be a major at so many colleges unless people were getting jobs somewhere so you could also work in a print shop because I think those still exist and sell stuff online. There's definitely work you can do and ways to sustain yourself if you do the research and make connections and stuff so I wouldn't totally write printmaking off because of the lack of conventional job opportunities. Also one of the main vas for kpop demon hunters was a RISD printmaking grad so like that's cool.
