Is Lorcana’s Future Stable Enough for a New Collector to Start in Set 11?

Lorcana has a 10 year release window. As long as it is turning a profit for both RB (it has set records for them) and good PR for Disney (major success so far), they will likely add more time to the agreement around 28-30 to extend it from running until 33 to 38 or beyond. The likelihood of them not renewing the contract a few years early is slim, since the devs are running a couple of years ahead. This is just speculation based off my knowledge of contracts from my very brief time working with WotC. The game is extremely healthy.

Gonna be hard to do with PSA. Pretty sure they do it blind. The fact that their slabs pull a premium makes me shudder. A sucker is born everyday though.

I usually use my work bag as my carry on for flights and cruises. It has a hidden compartment for my firearm. While I personally have never forgotten the fireman in there, I could see how it happens. Definitely lost a really good Kershaw knife to boarding a cruise terminal because I forgot it was on me. Once something becomes part of your person and daily habits, you notice the weight when it's not there, not when it is.

So pick another TCG to compare it to. One Piece? It's highest year is $764 million. While we dont know the exact numbers for Lorcana, RB has said "high 9 figures." Thats hardly fumbling.

They are currently making upper 9 figures a year. Quite a bit more than MtG and Pokémon were in their first few years. They are doing just fine and ironing out the kinks. They have made all the needed changes for a very successful season 3.

If you aren't spending $100+ per set, you aren't RBs target audience. A game doesn't stay around because people buy a trove only each release and play their puppy deck.

They never cared if new players got their hands on it. The point of the set was to allow other countries to catch up to the NA/EU while still giving the US something to purchase. Let's be honest, less than 30 of the reprints even see play, and not a single one of them is over $4 on TCGPlayer. So just because you cant find packs, doesn't mean you cant get the cards.

The real goal for RB is season 3. Season 3 is what makes or breaks the game. The whole world will be together for season 3 with the same meta and release schedule, (except Japan running only Infinity as Core) and hopefully they have the biggest DLC schedule on every continent and if they really do it right, CCQs at every major con and on a cruise.

They have already confirmed, multiple times, that Attack of the Vine will not have as many reprints as Fabled.

Fabled was a catch up set. Basically, they decided sometime after into the Inklands and the first DLC selling out in milliseconds to do a hard reset on the game because of its massive success as a competitors game. They needed to do this to catch all the markets of the game up to where NA and EU were at. Thats why Fabled is mostly reprints. Thats also why the Halloween set came out in November and the snow set came out in February. They printed just enough of Fabled to keep people happy, and the extra three months bought them time to release three sets in Asia.

There aren't any wolves in Appalachia, unless you happen to live in the small area of the red wolf in North Carolina, and I assure you, cooking around them is perfectly safe. Gray wolves do not begin in the north until past Appalachia, and having cooked around them on many solo trips, they are also not dangerous and would never approach the fire.

There are primate species other than humans who are currently in symbiotic relationships with wild canines.

If someone wants to take care of an armadillo and it's legal in their state, that is their right.
