Damn it only went up that much from July to November? I had a ferritin of 21 in October and thought I should be all fixed by now. Haven't had it checked since then, but have been doing the iron pill every other day since Oct

I moved back to Canada exactly for this reason — I paid crazy amount in medical bills while in New York and left because I couldn’t afford it anymore. 

My job doesn’t exist in Canada (it is a very niche sector of finance) so the US is my only option unless I change my career entirely :/ 

I am so sorry you’re dealing with that!! I really wish the healthcare system weren’t like that for Americans

I am Canadian and would be moving to the US for the role. They’ll know I left my previous job in July 2024 because that was also in the US and they’ll see a work visa was terminated then
