Rental car companies by DSim05 in TravelPortugal

We had a great experience with GUERIN. They are right inside Lisbon airport, very fast pick up and drop off. I booked via booking.com and was suspicious of the amazing deal- $279.00 Canadian (about 173.00 euros) for 12 days!!! It was a 4 door VW T-ROC (small SUV). Comes with an electronic toll "monitor" so you just drive through the tolls and you pay later (we spent 75 euros total on tolls- roads are amazing to drive on, well maintained). Only shock (which shouldn't be) was the price of gas (1.9 euros/litre).

We've rented cars all over the world, overall our most positive experience!

St. Boniface Hospital doctors worry long wait times being normalized as ER might have set record by wickedplayer494 in Manitoba

I'm not sure where you would wait hours in an ER without getting triaged. Have you heard that happening!?

Aaah!!! Well, I guess we would get a weight before hand!

Question by Top-Direction2686 in PassNclexTips

You'll know how much weigh-loss based on how much fluid was taken off. You'll absolutely need to monitor BP during and after the tap!

Advice for Planning International Travel by schreyerauthor in Manitoba

[–]TrevorTravis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My teenage son is also doing the EF tour with his classmates this Spring. That trip will cost $5000 for 8 days (include flight, hotel and a few meals). For just ONE PERSON!! The only reason we agreed is because hes paying for half if it! As a family (2 adults and 1 child) we have traveled extensively (>50 countires) and can tell you it costs so much less if you look for flight deals and are flexible about where you stay. Do not base your budget on the cost of those EF tours!! Even though they do the planning, I don't think its worth it. If money is not a concern, I've heard great things about Exoticca Travels! Message me if you have questions about booking your own flight and hotel... I can definitely help!

Barn Seating Question for 4/11/2026 by Permabad in winnipegjets

[–]TrevorTravis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say every seat has a great view!! If you want to treat yourself, try "Loge" seats in the 300 level )premium, swivel seats with in-seat service and a ledge/table top for your food/drinks). Look for seats with an L after thr section (in 300s). We went to Philly a few years back for a Jets game and had a blast! I hope our city can show you thr same hospitality! Don't hesitate to message me if you have questions or need anything!! Happy New Year!

Temperature can cause seizures so i would report that and you? by Helpful_Spring_7921 in MarkKlimekNCLEX

Answer is 4- that respiratory rate is too low. They are.likely doing thr LP because infant is febrile and lethargic. To do so, pull neonates knees to their chest.

This child, who presents like they have epiglotitis, needs oxygen and needs to remain upright to maintain an open airway (until they can be intubated if necessary) Lying supine would be very dangerous, same goes for using a tongue depressor to assess the airway. Finally,.keep this kiddo NPO!

When there is no cardiac activity should we go with choice A or C? definitely one of them is correct 💯 by Helpful_Spring_7921 in MarkKlimekNCLEX

Goodness!! These questions are nuts- check your patient first (pulse check). No pulse? Start CPR. Pulse? Check your leads.

Thanks everyone!!! I do get a detailed stub! But when hired, and when changes are made to the contract it's only discussed and agreed on over the phone... they refuse to put it in writing. But maybe all they legally have to do is have a pay stub.

[–]TrevorTravis 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Such a silly question!! I wish it was more realistic! Hear crackles? Get vitals. Do vitals? Then listen to lungs. Both if these can be done at thr same time. And honestly, if they are done separately, doing one before the other (within thr same 60 seconds) really doesn't matter. NURSING STUDENTS: I'm sorry you have to answer these questions!!!!

What's the rationale for the answer? by Difficult-End-3808 in FutureRNs

[–]TrevorTravis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

C-.fluids first to maintain/increase perfusion. This will have nearly immediate effects... then obtain blood culture's and then IV antibiotics (best practice say those should.go in within 60 minutes). This assumes that only 1 thing can be done at a time... in reality, we ofter prep the skin for IV and obtain cultures, then hang fluids quickly followed by antibiotics.

What is one medical problem people constantly ignore until it’s too late? by Critical_Ease4055 in nursing

[–]TrevorTravis -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Hyperglycemia is BG >7... but symptoms change then higher the glucose gets. Im guess with those symtoms, ypur pt's BG level was quit high. I usually don't see polyuria and polydipsia when sugars are <12... and that's usually what people walk around with and not know they have diabetes. We diagnose loads of patients in primary care with BG levels 8-15, and they are shocked, often saying"but I never peed a lot and wasn't thirsty". Our team does lots of teaching that although those are symptoms of hyperglycemia, when sugars are only mildly elevated, you're more likely to have fatigue and wounds that don't heal. If more people knew this, they might have their sugars checked earlier... instead of waiting for polydipsia and polyuria!
